really nice but the hood being crooked is pissing me off
lol that's fibre glass for you. i ordered the exact same one. sprayed it black to match my car & all. all up $2500 AUD and i put it on the fitment was shit just like his. now its a piece of artwork in my garage lol. it did my head in.
@@jtspiky You can realign them fairly easy if you have an inch of room under the place that needs to be fixed. Use ratchet straps to tension it into the form you want then just add more glassfibre under it and if you have room a piece of wood to get some more structure to the glassfibre. Done it on our rally cross 997 which we make our own body kit for and it works like a charm

Rx7 is kind of a dream car for me thatd Id love to own some day but the hype tax is so high and the maintenance seems a bit much
let alone refilling gas and the oil consumption on this car is insane , its not meant to be a daily driver

A beat car is a beat car, and the act of showing it off solicits reactions. It's one thing if the car was stock and looked ratty, because the damage tells a story. It's another thing when the owner very obviously tried to chase a look by slapping on a bunch of useless aero under a matte black paint job. That's just laziness and poor attention to detail.

I don't have crazy fitment and I have a few body imperfections but I still think my car pretty alright. And to your point of "showing off" That's literally the point of car shows, to show other enthusiasts your build. If you think the care is beat fair enough, no one besides yourself can tell you what to feel. But I don't think this short video of this dude's FD is toxic or offensive by any means.
Long story short I'm just annoyed at people who don't have any experience modifying cars but absolutely tear builds apart. It's easy to talk shit behind a screen but not so easy to build a show car.

As a black car owner, I understand it is almost impossible to keep it crystalline clean. But try harder next time, when you make a video like this you want the car to show as perfect as possible :)
