Hey there, such great memories you both have! I just was wondering, what year was this? I was born in 1986 so I was thinking it was maybe around that time:)
@@deborahbrada Awww wow so cool! Looks like a lot of fun! My Sister was born in 1981! Looking at this clip doesn’t seem possible it was 44 years ago.. time goes by so fast
Great question! We still have the card table and it still gets used a lot. And we have unbelievably great memories from our trip around the world that changed the trajectory of our lives. We are now lifelong travelers!
@@deborahbrada oooh you did take all your trips! I was going to ask if Bill forfeited any of them because of PTO, and did you do them all at once or split them up over the year y’all had to take them?
We did them all at once. It was easy for Bill to get work trades with other firefighters. It was a six-week-trip because we added two weeks to see Germany, Switzerland, France and Holland. It was the trip of a lifetime!
@@deborahbrada awesome sauce and y’all should try to get back on again with Drew. They now let Barker players come on down again so it’s something to consider.
Airdate for this one is most likely to be either Oct 24, 1980, Nov 14, 1980 or Nov 19, 1980. The audience curtains have the yellow replaced by orange by this point and the Search for Tomorrow plug was phased out near the end of that year
When you see people can tell the year based on the curtains used in the studio at the time, you know the show has a cult base, as in the comment above. Thanks!
Hello Deb! I'm a digital media producer working with the National Archives of Game Show History in Rochester, NY to produce a podcast featuring interviews with former game show contestants. Interested in chatting with me sometime about your Price experience?
@@christiancarrion9017 Yes, we'd love to. Deb was a contestant first on the Price Is Right and then got Bill to go on. That trip around the world changed the whole trajectory of our lives. We were also on Match Game PM (Deb) and Childs Play (Bill).
Shouldn't have Bob been introduced as "host" instead of the "star" of PRICE IS RIGHT? Congrats you two. Post us a new picture.
Hi Thanks for uploading an old episode of the Price is Right from the fall of 1980. Do you have a favorite Price is right pricing game of all time?
It's been so long, I can't remember a single game!
Wow, William sure is handsome!
I agree!
Deb’s a babe ❤

Deb, thank you for posting this and very cool! Do y’all still have any of your prizes almost 45 years later?

I assume these are your parents? Bob really liked William! Thanks for this classic episode. If I were to guess, this is from 1981.

Diane Parkinson though.
I hope BUZZR gets to 1980 but knowing Bob’s fur ban it’ll never happen
Bob was smart. Fur is sick.
@@dannydougin3925 Stupid reason to withhold 44-year-old episodes.
@@TheEggplantThatAteChicago Not even the Barker Era channel could air fur episodes.
