fun fact, daehwi wrote hollywood when he was only 16 (maybe 15) years old and then they used it as the first song they ever showed the public on produce 101 season 2
There is still Breathe(debut song), Their solo songs ( Breakup by Youngmin a former member, Moondance by Woong, More by Donghyun, Rose Scent Kiss by Daehwi and Colour Eye by Woojin), Salute, Close and Cherry. All these have their own M/V. By the way all their songs are produced by themsleves(Most of the title tracks are produced by Lee Daehwi he is the youngest of the grp) some of the choreography are also created by 1 of the member( Park Woojin he is the Main Dancer and Main rapper of the grp )

"1, 2, 3" is such a bright sing-along track... I just want to dance together with them!

Blind for Love is one of the best, if not the best, house kpop song. It's impeccable. It's like their debut track "Breathe" but they elevated it further and made it even more sophisticated and sleek.

AB6IX are my ults and for some reason international content is pretty hard to come by for them; which is a shame tbh, bc their entire discography is top tier, they're top tier people I just- they deserve so much more didjdj
AB6IX were mostly known for their deep house style for their first few albums, and it's still definitely present in their bsides to this day. I'd definitely suggest checking out Breathe, their debut if you're a fan of house ^-^
One of my favourite things about them is they're probably, I'd say, about 90% self produced...the vast majority of their stuff is all composed by the members. And Hollywood was composed by their maknae Daehwi, when he was 15-16..which is like...the talent omg

If you listen to their albums in order of release you can actually hear some changes in development over time of their music production because at first it was mostly Daehwi & Donghyun writing their own group’s music. Then their VIVID album era hit and since then their sound has gotten a lot more complex in instrumentation, plus I think their music budget grew too.
The Answer is the odd song out in their VIVID album because it was written by Zico, but overall VIVID is a really good album and my favorite song on there are Surreal & Midnight Blue. They have a lot of good b-side music, many I like more than their title tracks.
You would really enjoy their Mo’Complete LP (the one with the Cherry title track and the orange cover). Every song on that album gets my body moving.
Hollywood is personally my least liked AB6IX song (like, I put it dead last in their discography) but a lot of fans love it because it was the very first song that introduced them to the AB6IX members when they were trainees on the kpop survival show Produce 101 (season 2). When Daehwi & Woojin were in Wanna One, Donghyun and Youngmin were in MXM, which is why Donghyun & Youngmin are both sitting at a couch at the beginning of the Hollywood MV in their MXM-vibe clothes before they join the AB6IX members to redebut in AB6IX.
1,2,3 is a performance video because the “complete with you” special album isn’t a full comeback (they’re not promoting it on music shows), it was a special album released as an extra to their Seoul concert which was supposed to happen Jan 15-16 but unfortunately got cancelled due to Covid restrictions. Each member were supposed to perform a solo stage at their concert, and were also told that their solo song would also go on the special album “complete with you”, so the members ended up getting to release the kind of music they wanted to share at a concert, in their most recent album.
If you like Blind for Love I also highly recommend listening to their “Blind for Love Nu Disco Mix” which is....my ultimate jam! It reminds me of Daft Punk. The instrumental break in that remix gives me brain chills/frillage.
If you do end up listening to their b-sides, I also recommend looking up lyrics videos. They have a lot of nice/pretty lyrics in their songs and will match their lyrics to the music sometimes.
As for AB6IX b-side music videos, if you want to check out more, here are some I know off the top of my head:
Love Air, Surreal (on a VEVO channel), they also have a studio choom version of The Answer which is super cute, Mirror (Halloween performance video on their AB6IX CZcams channel), Walking in the Rain (black and white cover on their company BrandNewMusic channel). Actually they don’t have a lot of official b-side MVs because their company is kinda cheap, but they do have a lot of dance performance type videos they post to their AB6IX channel.
I also highly recommend looking for their LULULALA comeback performance choreo. That dance is suuuuper cute.

Oh yeah fun fact, Daehwi said that the instrumental piano bridge (when the spotlight turns on) in 123 was inspired by the Beauty & the Beast original sound track. I just find that incredibly adorable that he incorporated Disney OST influences into 123. He also wrote an older company collab song “Melting” while thinking about the Olaf snowman Frozen character.
