      Exactly. What I never realised until a while ago is like he says, he did the press tour with Aldo for the unified belt, then Aldo pulled out so he had the fight for only the interim and then it was in December he got to actually fight Aldo. It took ages. Including damaging his ACL and as I say, Aldo's pullout.

    Hype or not, he makes sense. His passion is admirable. His self belief is something I can learn from. His respect for those who have helped him is, again, something I can learn from. But to the haters, "make no mistake about it," Conor Mcgregor is not your enemy in life. If your life sucks so much that a confident man pursuing his craft feels offensive...well, you are losing. He's just a man realizing the fullest of his potential in one craft. Let it inspire you.

      +ChadEternalLegend and your point is? Anderson Silva had losses before he even stepped foot in the UFC. There's always someone like yourself that has a negative bullet locked in the chamber for someone like Conor because he is where he is and I believe he took that loss and (1 of 2 ) he has and made himself better. POINT... Duffy is trying to make a name for himself in the UFC while Conor has almost reached the top. Goes to show that even failures can't keep strong men from succeeding. Keep drinking your "Haterade" and watch history being made on December 12th when he owns Aldo.

    It gives me chills to hear him describe how he thought the Aldo fight would go down, from the way Aldo would fight to the round and method he would beat him.
    Consider for a second that, prior to the fight, Jose Aldo had NEVER been KO'd, and his last loss was TEN YEARS PRIOR. Ten years! The guy was considered at the time by many experts to be the #1 P4P fighter in the world.
    (For those that don't know, that means people considered him to be THE BEST MMA fighter in the world, regardless of weight class.)
    Yet Conor was so confident that he predicted a 1st round KO... 👀

      anhtaip He has never been put under pressure to the point where he panics, cause he cant get off the cage, nor has he faced a high level striker. When Chad went to war with him he tagged him so many times that it makes me think. If a wrestler can improve so much his striking that he can trade blows with the pound for pound king. How much time will it take for a guy with real striking pedigree to dismantle him?

    • @SincereDoper
      @SincereDoper Před 8 lety +1

      +Martin Daskalov well chad is a beast standing up on top of his wrestling, he has spent a lot of time with duane just like dillashaw has and he has a lot of power on top of his technique. i believe conor wins this fight fairly easily and i believe jose has already quit mentally multiple times, but chad is a very good striker and him being able to strike with jose, or even conor given a full camp, shouldn't really shock anyone.

    Its still crazy to me how McGregor was only like 26-27 during these times. He just seems so mature than normal 26-27 year old guys. And he speaks like a fucking scholar. The way he looks and acts, it didn't seem like he was in his twenties. I'm turning 25 in a month, and maturity wise, during that time, he seems like he's a fuck ton older than me.

    I have never lost my shit harder after a title fight than I did this fight. SO much hype and build up and talk up to this point. MacGregor was getting beat up and taken down a lot and was losing that fight. But he did show the heart of a champion and he did come back and won by knock out. This fight was a testament to his will and mental strength. Aldo may be more experienced and probably a better fighter than him but MacGregor is no doubt in Aldo's head and MacGregor has a champions heart. MacGregor will find a way to win against Aldo. He has come too far to fail now. Dec. 12th its do or die all in.

      Aldo clearly is a great fighter but has ring rust. Conor has confidence and momentum and the skills to beat aldo. i am definetly rooting for conor. curious to see if aldo is still good with the new drug testing.

      It's because everyone puts Conor on a pedestal before he actually defends his title. let's remember he "won" the title from someone who trained 17 days for that fight.
