Just divide the original essence number by 4, round up, and that’s how many seconds. Don’t over complicate it.
The math: let’s go with 100 essence. 100/10 is 10. Times 2.5 is 25.
100/4 is also 25.

the math is sound. However, the three day cool down for a Legendary aether tool is still way too long. 8 games at top production to get it back. who has an 8 hour work day to get it back from the cool down?
If they want more interaction, why is the cool down so high in the first place?
@@hdylta come on dude, it was either wait the 3 full days shit out of luck or be able to grind it down at least a little.[
@@moneyboy503the clock will run down before I ever grind it down and that's probably like 90% of players. I hardly ever play for 3 hours a day anyway so those won't even help me with Perks with I hardly ever craft in the 1st place. So even if I play 5 games and grind the leg tool down 50% I'm done at that point for the day so it'll be back again by the time I play again regardless. Same for literally all of the good stuff. 🤷♂️
This should have been added in season 1. Don't understand how there wasn't any way to reduce cool down scematics for 6 MONTHS
If you just want a calculation for hours instantly divide your essence by 14,400. Let’s say you have 100,000 essence you divide it by 14,400 = 6.94 hours (to check this we do your method 100,000/4 = 25,000/60 = 416.66/60 = 6.94 hours
Hope this helps (also a quick side note this means 1 hour equals to near exactly 14,400 essence)

After season 3 reloaded update the game keep crashing, not only for me also for some friends who play the game on Xbox like me and no fix until now.
I tried to fix it by myself as described by activation support but non of them worked last chance I removed the game and re-download it.
I will try it today to check if it still crash.
Man I wish they just done a formula for how much essence your earnt. I can’t believe you would de incentivise spending essence.
I had that same exact thought. So now if you want to increase cooldown you have to specifically not spend money in match. 🤦♂️
I think this should incentivize people to loot more and be more mindful about their items. Perhaps it makes the game more challenging because everyone isn’t going to now buy 12 kaz grenades and 5 sentries..

since its based on the amount of essence you have at exfil. why pay 15k to get PAP3 after say half the time is over. just keep doing T2 contracts.
That is what I do. Farm T2 in prep for a t3 run. If all goes well I’ll score a pack 2 crystal that makes it super easy for pack 3. Also finding that doing raid weapon stash and outlast contracts with deliver cargo help too because of all the zombies you kill
I am quite happy with the change and feel that it is now quite reasonable honestly. The only things I would wish for now is maybe a day/night time cycle if possible and maybe some more bosses or interesting fights in the EZ.

on a good day i can run one game of zombies and make 50k but that still doesn't make a huge difference for a 70hr cooldown
I mean I spawned all my classifieds this afternoon at 1pm, after 2 games they were down to 22 hours remaining, thats pretty significant. Certainly better than no bonus
Does it work for classified schematics(aether blade, golden armor plate, etc…)?
My containment was 135 and game did some weird things not crash like usual. Got out it was at 10. Really hate that and if course there's nobody to tell it to.

So long as the infinite essence exploits are in the game, I don’t think this is going to stay in its current state. I have a feeling the cooldown will be nerfed before tombstone :/
I don't think even of ypu go to the DA to exfil on the glitch with 1M it'll matter bc you "die" and start the aether run with 0 ess and when ypu exfil it only counts what you've earned in the DA
So it would actually hurt ypur cool down. And the way ypu stack cash ypu have to die so no exfil. And it takes a few people multiple games to get that 1M just to exfil to cool down a few items idt it'll get used for that much to be a problem bc it's a total waste of time and those players likely already do ts so they don't even exfil in the 1st place bc they don't need to. That's my guess.

My friend exfiled with max essence and it reset all of his schematics from just being used to being able to use them the very next match

Last I checked it was broken. Have you compared the time it says was reduced on your cooldown vs the time remaining on your cooldown? It's broken...well, it was. Havent played since today's patch.
Yeah for some reason they added the “reduce insured weapon AND schematic cooldown” before the new patch. It works now

About 80% of the time when I leave the OG dark Aether my first screen basically says I was “Killed In Action” when I obviously wasn’t!? Therefore not giving me any cool downs? It Doesn’t show it if it does? Getting so sick of it. I Never Exfil, I go to the OG (season 1) Elder every single game. Haven’t gotten in an exfil chopper in a good month? 🤷🏼♂️ my last 5 games have all told me killed in action 🤬
I recently extracted 214,000 essence and got a 15 hour crafting reduction
I exfilled with 128,000 yesterday and got a cool of 8 hours.. but I was closer to 129,000 so my specific cool down was 8hours 54 minutes
That would be great if the schematics cool down would actually work.

If i remember corectly its like 100hours or more
1 000 000 points would be 250 000 seconds, so 69 hours 26 minutes and 40 seconds. (still can't reset PaP3 completely xd)
I honestly dont see the difference lol. I dont think it works just like when people were saying if you exfil with the schematic it takes away the cooldown

A more simple one, 1000 essence = 4 mins 10 seconds, 6000 essence = 25 minutes
That works great as well. n/4 works best for absolute precision.

Why is no one talking about the fact that the cooldown period is increesed drasticly! Legendary Tool was 12 hours, now its 24 hours. Flawless Crystal was 48 hours I belive, now its 80 or something? Same with Golden Armor, Aether Blade, and so on. The only that I dont think has changed, is the perks and ammo moods. And the fact that every Dark Aether run you do, you get Zero cool down because it says Killed in action..

@@_playa_you just can’t add to your stash. However you can keep everything you bring into the game and bring it all back in the next game. Guns, Aether blade, essence, and whatever is in your backpack. I do this every game so nothing is on cooldown.
@@thedavid3737 sorry for the load of questions, but do you set the tombstone every game so it’s able to spawn next game that way you can go to the dark aether or something?
