After spending a while freezing ourselves at Reston we stopped off here at Markle as it has been a year since I have filmed here last, with a lot of rumours circulating about this crossings closure.
Markle is situated between Drem and East Linton in East Lothian and is situated on the East Coast Mainline. Services by ScotRail, LNER, TransPennine Express, CrossCountry & LUMO can be seen here.

Should have closed when East Linton opened, mind you Network Rail never did do anything right.
They are in the middle of that now. The sites being prepared to do just that.
