Few notes:
The HD version is not yet available and I didn't want to let you guys wait, so here it is, but the quality is unfortunately not HD.
The coding of the subs was completely off. It seemed as if the subs were going slower than the video so I had to retrack the subs every few seconds to make them match. So sorry if any of them are still a bit off.

Anybody that is not happy with the lower quality or sound quality of this video can go and google where to find the HD versions. You are welcome to just download the subtitles and fix the video yourself or download the HD version when it comes out. If you go to wieisdemol.com you can find a topic on that forum that states where to find the HD versions. Episode 2 is still not up as of right now but anybody willing to wait can download both seperately and enjoy it that way.

I love that this season is being very understated. The assignments aren't confusing, just plain and simple. And everything that happens feels earned and exciting just for the surprising impacts they have.

That breakfast scene had me rolling in stitches that I had to pause. KAK funny. And my jaw dropped at what happened in this episode. I think the production clearly had to deal with a smaller budget for the season, so focused on challenge design than extravagance.
i love that nikkie seems more confident this seasons, idk if it's just me but she seems more communicative and involved with the group!

Dutch Mole is fascinating. The rules tend to be very unclear. Makes the challenges a lot more suspenceful.

Peggy has become my main suspect, and I think I have fallen into tunnel vision. However, I am confident in my pick. Last year, I predicted Rob to be the Mole before the season even started, and I stuck with it and was correct. Now, I'm doing the same with Peggy.

I believe it is Peggy based off of a few things.
1) In the very first assignment, everyone had a quote on their mirror. Peggy's quote was, "I see you, Mole". At the end of the challenge, everyone had to stand in front of their mirror. When Peggy stands in front of her mirror, she can see The Mole, as referred to in her quote, because she is looking at herself in the mirror.
2) She started the paranoia and chaos over whether the Italian names were solely Men or not.
3) When her group arrived at the 1.75 doubler, she told her group that they would continue, leading them to the 0.5 doubler.

Also, metagaming here, but I think Production would cast an "older" Mole. (AKA, someone who hasn't played in a while). All these players were once candidates and have all experienced red screens. If you are cast as a Mole, you play differently than the 1st time you played, because you're playing a different role. If Production were to cast someone like, Nikkie or Tina as the Mole, everyone would notice their different play styles as they were so recent and unforgettable as being so new. However, people like Nadja, Patrick, and Peggy are older players and not many viewers can catch onto if their gameplay was different or similar from their initial season because they haven't seen their older seasons..

I agree that I think its an "older" mole, I think it fits really nicely with the renaissance theme (although you could probably shoehorn everyone into it probably).
though i agree with the idea of "older mole", we really have no idea how Ron plays from the first time (though not one of my suspect), and Tygo is so over the top that i'm not sure if any difference would not be seen as that. Though i agree that Peggy is suspicious.
I'm on Peggy or Ellie. Peggy did a very good job in the stone game just letting everyone else cause chaos while she stayed quiet. I like your mirror theory too!

I can't say I'm surprised that Nadja left given the amount of attention on her, but I can't believe she started to laugh when Rik said there was minus money in the chest at the laser assignment. Also, Ron and Nikkie are a delight together and I want to see them work together every episode lmao

Can you please make the 1st episode include a transcript? That way I can download the episode _and_ cut and paste the transcript into a make-shift .srt file to have the subtitles you so graciously produce for off-line viewing.

ik heb het probeert om CZcams video's in de Nederlandse taal te zetten en het is heel moeilijk om de tijdstreepen te syncroniseren. Tijdrekkend en vervelend. Wie verdenkt jij tot nu? Ik verdenk Jeroen misschien Peggy.
I think after watching this episode I'll reconsider my plans to make Ron my bodyguard, and book him a taxi home from the pub rather than risking him trying to walk home :)

Have they always been so evil in previous seasons with Rik and 'oh by the way hope some of you enjoyed the bonus goodies!' to stir things up a bit?! At the moment I'm stuck in a weird tunnel of 'the Mole is going to be one of the contestants I know' and since I've only been watching properly since 2018 that basically comes down to Ron or Nikkie at the moment, something weird I did notice was when Nikkie got her green screen they actually played the elimination music sound effect!
They throw up the elimination sound effects every time so you can't tell who's being eliminated by how the music changes

The eliminee this week could've had a giant death's head floating above her since the first ten minutes or so of the episode. When in the pre-elimination bit, half the cast go "I think it could be X, X is a big suspect", you know X is going home.
Who's de Mol? I agree a lot with people saying Peggy. Dunno if that's a little obvious though. Ron seems to be the genial but not too competent joker, which is basically the role he played in the last game (when he went out first). Suspecting him less. Suspecting Tygo a bit more. Suspecting Ellie a bit more actually - I was all ready to write her off on character alone previously. And Patrick has earned E1500 for the pot single-handedly, so if there's a dumb-as-heck "auction" challenge to take all of that money out of the pot, we'll know that it's him!

After the dinner challenge they had 750 in the pot, then Horace took a bill of 250. In this second episode, they earned 100 in the first challenge, but the pot was shown as 850.
Why Horace's money was not count? What happened?
If i recall correctly Horace hasn’t shown anyone the money and is keeping it to himself. It will only count if he gives it to Patrick.

I'm gonna be honest, I really don't like Tygo. Didn't like him in his original season either. He's all "play the game fuckers I'm not here to make friends" and mocking people who share information and disparaging people who don't "work hard enough"
He seems to be a little better this season, but I still don't like him. The only person I really like is Horace, so I kind of hope he is the mole so he'll stay in- but I'm suspecting Ellie more, I feel like she could be doing better than she is
