@@alanbareiro6806 Yo was on fire, but Viper also was not playing his best. He did some bad things like failing to wall properly, leaving holes, he don't usually do that mistakes. This and other things like that can mean everything in high leveled games.

Finally you are back! I missed you, for real.
I know it’s a late comment, but I want to note a couple things. Those new TKs were an absolute monster on the offensive inside PBs base. They’d not have been able to clear out the villagers like that before. Secondly, some walking in the mid/late game is important for the tons. Since they are slow, they want to be on the offensive to force fights where they can cover their melee with siege. Walls channel the raiding into killing fields of Halbs.

@@peopledrivemecrazy He talked about it more in detail on stream a few days ago. I don't remember the details too well(so someone can correct me), but if I recall right, he got a supposed offer by email from some company(who were actually hijackers). Viper even checked with the company's (I forget who) official Facebook page and they said it looks legit.
So he ended up opening a PDF from the email and they were able to exploit that to hijack his google account(which is also linked to his CZcams). Right after he did that he got a whole bunch of notifications about changed numbers and passwords, before google noticed suspicious activity and locked the account.
After that, google gave him instructions to recover his account that simply didn't work. Given how long it was down, not only did we miss out on new videos for a while, but Viper would have lost some revenue over this as well.
TLDR: Viper clicked on an exploited PDF, bad people took over his account, google locked it shortly after.

@Devon Bueno Unlikely. Teuton knights already are very good vs rams. Crenelations means bombard cannons aren't all that amazing. Trebs and raids are still the way to go vs teutons, and herbal medicine really doesn't help much vs them.
Free herbal medicine becomes a bit more useful in way post imp when individual gold units really start to matter, but they're still so slow they can't really punish caravans.
The amount of mirco needed to keep the knights popping in and out of castles is crazy, and limits the knight's mobility even more, better to send a monk with the knights to heal them up so the knights can stay in motion and guard the last gold piles instead of blowing your precious stone on more castles.
If towers got the full benefits of herbal medicine, then I might see a use for it, but right now they don't heal enough to make outpost lockdown tactics really matter. If trebs weren't in the game it would be potentially amazing, but if you spread with towers they can just go through the center.
It's one of those looks good on paper but is really bad in application.
Now in team games post imp, you might be onto something, since running out of resources is very common.

Glad to see Viper has the same gathering point problem i experience lately. Not sure what it is, but at least it doesnt only happens to me.
Teutons are such a strange civ. It's like the best way to kill someone in Castle Age is to Castle Drop. Teutonic Knights are iffy units, but they can be quickly made to murder incoming rams (usually a plus to infantry/cav civs), and with crenellations will contribute to arrow damage while being massed (usually a plus of archer civs). Free Murder Holes, free Herbal Medicine means nearby castles provide both long range cover fire and healing.
It's like if you're trying to defend or push a point, throwing down a mega-range castle and stuffing it with a Teutonic Knight defense force pretty much locks the area. Barring that, they have astoundingly tanky Paladins, full monastery tech, and even bombard cannons. The lack of archery anything hurts, but there are few better archers than a gosh darn castle.

Never played Teutons much, but the extra armor on their siege always seemed like a marginal benefit.
Your goal with siege is to have them not take much melee damage- they're already in trouble if cavalry or infantry has gotten that close. I guess it helps a little in those tight spots, but ideally you don't use it much.
I’m Teutons all the time now 🙈🙈 never thought I’d say that, been mayans/aztecs for so long most scenarios... but there so improved
5min in the game and already more actions than me in 50min...
I feel that Turk Hand Cannons and Bombard Cannons should counter Onagers and Teutonic Knights fairly well. The Teutonic knights can't approach the hand cannons because they are too slow and the Onagers get sniped by the Bombard Cannons

I wish I could play this game again. It has been so long since I played it. I think my mother gave away all my old video games after the house computer died. Do they still sell it. Maybe I could buy it, however my current PC is for writing my children’s books not for gaming, but maybe I could buy another computer only for gaming /

It makes sense. There's not much to say except that he just played poorly, and Yo didn't.
@@Jacks_Suffocating_Nihilism Also that Viper went for rock, while Yo went for Paper in a Rock-Paper-Scissors metagame in settings where you can't scout what your opponent is doing. But sure, it is not the right call to go for the exact same strat that you just showed off, especially when it has such clear counters. The land madness game was a freebie for Yo, since he saw Vipers strat in the previous series and going for the exact same build again just opened Viper up for massive counterplay. If Viper were better prepared, he would have had another strat for Teutons on another map and went Magyars or Huns or something on land madness to mess with Yo. But he didn't, and that was, maybe not a mistake, but a poor decision.
