you can explore pre-port mistral if you haven't gotten past the first quest of meeting the queen and such. not rlly much to do there aside from talking to 2 npc's and seeing a town not on fire/in ruin

tbh, Wotan's curse is very underwhelming, you got all these menacing curses like the Aether Curse or the Frost Metal Curse, and my guy Wotan here has the Wood Curse. (When it comes to names btw not possibly power)
I think he is very powerful in an industrial sense. Unlike normal wood magic which disappears after a quick moment of time, I imagine Wotan builds massive ships very quickly by himself. It can take entire years to build a single brig but Wotan could probably build 5 of them in just a day
This would leave everyone else to only have to build the sails cannons and all the small things
In conclusion, Wotan is a naval Industrial god
