Im playing Quad Spark totem with links:
-Spark
-Spell Totem Support
-Greater Multiple projectiles support (yes I did the math and its worth)
-Faster Projectiles Support
-Faster Casting Support
-Controlled Destruction Support
You want to go reach all the Increased Duration nodes around the Scion and get the projectiles speed nodes at the Ranger. Also you wanna get the 50%pierce chance between the Ranger and Shadow.
It's just so much fun to play and also pretty f****** strong. The whole screen will only be spark... don't play this if you lagg on cast on crits builds. xD
You can also play the support MF spark totem wich mean you want even more projectiles and include Culling Strike to it... Don't worry you'll always get the last hit on everything. Just get as much MF as you can and many people will want you in their runs :)
tbh a lot of those skills are viable, it depends on the build
so nice to have a vid like this for me one of the most important aspect of the game is how skills look ty ;)

Aljaž Opaka its 50 per srs gem + 1 per totem. so if you had 4 different srs totem set ups with enough cast speed you could get 204 srs... now the question is how would you get damage investing that much in cast speed xD

Flame Dash totems were pretty funny. Out of idle curiosity can you vortex off of your totems frost bolts?
I did not test that and currently don't have the char, sorry. I presume not tho since its your vortex and totems are not you which is why they don't leech for you

Hi? I'm starting now in the game, I'd like to know which class is best suited for quad totem!
if your poor its templar hierophant if your rich if your rich dont go quad totem and get a Tukohama's Fortress Ebony Tower Shield. due to how hierophant works for each totem you deal 8% less damage. so with 3 totems its 100% - (8% x 3 = 24%) = 76% x 3 (cause you use 3 totems) leading to 228% damage. with four totems you get 100% - (8% x 4 = 32%) = 68% x 4 = 272%. however with Tukohamas fortress you dont get this negative 8% meaning 3 totem dealing 100% of their damage = 300% damage.

You should do some combos like cold/fire Ele Eq or Lightning Warp/Frost Bolt.
do you have the slightist clue how long that take... if i just did 2 spells together (pretend my totem cap is 2) and ignoring 3/4/5 combinations that would I would need to do 561 different 2 totem spell combinations. so fire ball + spark, fireball + arc, fireball, ball lighting, fireball lightning tendrils... no thanks if you want to experiment with duel combinations feel free to. this was never a min max video this was simply to show how the spells worked on totems. like cold snap bypassing the cooldown mechanic and stuff like that...

I was actually gonna do that exact thing.... let me sum it up for you.... 5 pointy lines repeat for 20 skills... I got the raw file on my PC after 40 mins of recording... but I don't think it be worth the time to edit (this video before it or not took 10 hours being my first time using an editing program and the original file was an hour long) the songs where stuck in my head for days after lol. if say 3 more people ask for it tho I'll edit it xD

I've tried Ice Spear myself and even with its increased crit chance and faster projectile speed Frostbolt just outperforms it completely.
A basic frostbolt deals more damage than a critical strike from Ice Spear unless you stack crit multiplier in which case Frostbolt would still be better since it also benefits from crit multiplier.
Well there were a lot of other spells that weren't viable either. If you wanted to do "all spells" then the spear is missing if just the viable ones... Well flame dash totems do not seem too rad for me. Or cold snap with its cooldowns... Anyway juts asked.

if you google "poe totem" it will be the first link and will have a sub section called "active totem limit" that will list every way in the game to get more totems.
technically.. Flame and Shockwave Totems do not belong in this list, but funny video though.. :) By the way, a comparison is totally unfair with Searing Bond having 5 totems active. ;-) Same for Flametotem and Shockwave, because they can use a link more. Just kidding, but thinking of a viability-list at this point is invalid anyway, when the skilltree was specialized only for a group of skills and for others not. I'm just enjoying the effects and look of the setups, that's the more useful information from this video. Thanks. Do another one with Ranged Attack Totems.. ^_^

if you had 1 are set up for each totem + self cast you could have 250 active. it's 50 per gem
Srs totem doesnt break cap, the 54 srs includes the 4 totems therefore leaving with 50 srs + 4 totems

with Ancestral Bond (+1 Totem), the Ascendant's Hierophant passive (+1 totem to a totem gem socketed to the helmet) have a look on poe wiki

as hierophant you can summon up 8 totems with equipment with the chest soul mantle for example
Templar's subclass, Hierophant allows you to set up 2 additional totems, Soul Mantle adds another one.
What kind of totem do you prefer?
arc has the best leveling and it seems to have the most effective tree for starting as templar which is the closist to the ancestral protector node. Also it doesn't need a helmet enchant like storm call (well stormcall doesnt need one... but it feels a lot fucking better) plus its cheap to gear and shock makes killing things rather fast. however in extremely large packs "alies cannot die" is a real bitch due to the limit target of arc. Something else to note about arc is it range due to arcing so it reaches the furthist which is kind of nice when your dropping one totem a pack listening for the "PING" of an exalt. plus it doesnt need thinks like projectile speed which spark does. So yeah im an arc fanboi. However I would say the 5 best totems are arc, flame, storm call, bladefall and firestorm.

You get 1 extra totem in the passive tree, some Ascendencies can summon more, and theres items that let you summon more too.
Can someone tell me why my dps goes down when I place down one next totem?
4 totems Ball Lighting dps is 124,3 but when I place just one totem it is 166,4 o.O and when trying agains same enemies I have feeling that 1 totem did more dmg than the 4 in shooting the same enemy O.o what? What is going on here?
Your using the templar node "ritual of awakening" it reads "cant have up to 2 additional totems summoned at a time. 8% LESS TOTEM DAMAGE PER TOTEM" if your just doing 2 totems dont get that because your have 184% totem damage (should have 200 for 2) however if your going for more totems like 4 it can be worth it since it doesnt need a 5 exalt sheild or the24/7 curses from soul mantle . 1 totem = 100% damage, 2 totem = 184% damage, 3 = 252% damage, 4 = 304% damage, 5 = 340% damage, 6 = 360% damage. Due to the minor increased after 4 you shouldnt really aim to go past there while using this totem node. However you could always just refund the 2 points and put them into Sanctuary of thought which reduces the mana cost of skills. reduces it while on full energy sheild and you gain 25% of maximum mana as extra energy sheild. Plus placing more then 5 totems will be extremely expensive.

Frost orb did fine dmg and had some aoe :D . . . fire explosion channeling spell is to slow, enemies just run out of the are xD

you cant "multi cast" (im guessing you mean spell echo?) with totems but you can use the faster casting support gem. as for my personal favorite totems are arc due to its bouncing mechanic makes it effective for 1 totem a pack. firestorm/whisper ice because it layers like 50 of them ontop of the boss. scorching ray is nice due to the searing touch + koams heart combo and spark totems was a very common build back in the days. tbh if you want aoe then you want a spell known for its aoe "like arc" but then again it comes with the weaknesses of arc like bad single target and problems with huge (allies cannot die) packs. good 4 link totems? well i dont use a 4 link for that long but arc flame and scorching ray have no real reasons why they should be bad for the level of content (unless undergeared extreme). and lastly in the quantity vs quality thing. I prefer quantity due to it creating more targets for the enemy to hit but heavy hitting spells are more chances to proc stuff like stuns.

The blight (New chaos spell) was litle weak when I did try it, not sure if it was just the fact I have 4 torwm build :D . . .80% slow is nice if you taunt the enemies x)

Wizardxeze summon raging spirits works off 50 per gem if you have 4 totems linked to one gem then the limit is 50 (the 51-54 is the totem itself) however if you have 4 totems + self cast all on different gems then the limit be 250

how do you get 4 spell totems?
1 by default + 1 ancestral bond (a skill tree node top left by templar) + 2 from templar heirophant. you are allowed 1 additional with Soul Mantle for 5. and when using searing bond you get 1 extra on the cap for free since you start with 2 by default.

you place more then one totem and its basically "disappear" "disappear" "disappear" plus i can only have 4 at a time since im a totem templar. so having 4 they are basically just a crappy smoke machine...
Might work well with necromancers beacon of corruption perhaps? Stack up minion life and spam them everywhere from totems.

the skill tree was pretty horrible it was just a generic templar build that got all the totem nodes and that elemental damage stuff under the ancestral keynode and then just all the surrounding life.

i was testing this out as a chieftain with soul mantle. quite annoying on some occassions but its fun to play.

builds been dead for ages. Templar, Hierophant grab 2 additional totens (Ritual of awakening), and then grab endurance and power charge (convicition of power) for last 2 points grab 2 small nodes or 10% of damage taken from mana (Divine Guidance) because the other choice is shit. Now skill tree.
go threw the damage to ancestral protector.
grab the elemental damage underneath.
from here pick a choice. head up for damage or head down down for tank.
pretty simple from there...
if it says life/lightning/spell/totem damage its properly a good choice.

if you go on the wiki page for orb of storms in updates. Under patch 3.4.0: "Can now be cast by mines, traps, totems, and can be triggered." It just simply didn't work when i made the video.
