Hello, it is quite a problem to combine these two towers, they have a slightly different electronics on the cassette drives, so they cannot be combined with each other. Either whole, or the complete electronics on the cassette mechanisms must be replaced. Others can be combined with each other, it works the same way.
@@laznickamichal In the case of the cassette players, you would have bought the drive belts and changed them since the original ones with time and use wear out, get thinner and stop responding, in my case a few days ago I repaired the cassette player to the J30 and the J50 that I have here at home and it was just changing the belts and cleaning the pulleys and the mechanism works again, I just need to do the same maintenance on the J800. But I was wondering if the other equipment on the right side of the photo 0:02 (j850r) could be restored or is it not working? The same and you would have changed everything from the front to the j75r there is not much difference in the parts.
@@laznickamichal Oh I understand, in any case it is convenient that you have it saved for when you find another one just like this one that is damaged, you have spare parts to bring it back to life. There are no longer any pieces of equipment to repair or at least here where I live they are no longer and no one repairs them. It is a shame considering that it is a special edition model since it was sold in some countries, along with the j800 and j888v year 2000, I remember that 1 year ago I bought the j800 that I have very cheap and it looked very new, pure head without speakers in a place where you buy material for recycling ("old iron" as it is called here where they buy recycling material), there I saw it, it looked new and that here in Mexico they did not sell it officially, from what I deduce who brought it from abroad. Aesthetically it looks really good. Although here I have many jvc in my house making a collection.

I have zJ850 r inside and the front panel with cradle and display is from J75 R, cassette drive with electronics is from J75R
J850 r did not work, there was something electronic in the front panel destroyed, the buttons and the control panel did not respond.
