I'm a fairly small creator. Please sub if you find my videos enjoyable.
My story of how I got so large, is from out of context.
I had this group chat, and I'd see these videos, called
"Regular Show Funniest Moments."
I'd make my own and then send them to the chat.
After creating "uptownfunkog" (OG Name)
I'd post roblox videos, and animations.
When I started running out of my 15 gigabytes on my IPAD MINI 2, which I made all of my videos on. (except the newer ones, I got a good computer now.)
I posted them on this channel. I continued to make animations and roblox videos, untill the second one,
• Regular Show (Perfectl...
started getting views. Then all of the other ones.
Then, I made a gumball out of context video.
No views.
I kept on making Regular Show videos until, one day, it just blew up.
I made more, and got to 500 subs.
I changed my channel name to Desmond.
Then, DesmondCONTEXT. I still made the occasional reguar show clip, but I put gumball on the surface to gain views.
Then I made a 30 Minute gumball video.
A Revolutionary Idea, because nobody had made one, THAT LONG. But I had. THREE TIMES. 1h 30m of content. I will say, that one half hour video WAS regular show,
But There was 1hr Still.
It got almost no views.
Untill may 14, 2022, when It got more than 10 views each day.
1 thousand per hour.
Then everything else started getting views.
And that's where I am today. Ill update this when something new happens.

I think it's implied in a later season that Richard and Nicole got married because she got pregnant with Gumball accidentally, which is funny looking back at that remark since he wasn't planned

Oh 100%. Even if he was kinda mediocre in performance, I would've been totally sold on letting him join just because of how dedicated was. He literally worked through the pain of a sprained ankle for like, 50% of his entire performance.

Season 1 used to be just the Watersons adventure day to day, with their innocent,fun, and goofy nature.
Season 2 and onward focused more on Gumball and Darwin's school life and their classmates. I think it portrays growing up.
They never technically grow up but also they seem to get older which was always kind of a mystery to me

Gumball himself was much more innocent and naive in the first season. He became kind of a jerk later, but he still had a heart and was likeable. Goes well with how the show became funny in a more sarcastic way as it went on, kinda represents what alot of kids his age go through while growing up.
Perfect analogy of the show progression.
He was also more of a crybaby in season 1 as well
I think that was done to seperate Darwin from gumball. In the first season, Darwin and gumball were almost the same characters in personality and how they acted like the two stoogew

I personally like the Season 1 art style the most. I always liked how sometimes a character's pupils would be oversized, but other times they would be normal. I don't know why they removed Darwin's shadow/shirt.
I do like the season 1 art style also it was great for it's time .

Season one might be the weakest of all the seasons of gumball but it's still a pretty Damm good season.
The show was very different back then, both in terms of visuals and story.
I feel like in season one they tried to make it more about relatable stuff, and then in the later seasons they realized like, ‘Wait, they live in a fucking fantasy world. Let’s use that!’, and started to branch out.

Season 1 gives me SO MUCH nostalgia!
I even remember watching this show a lot in 2011 and even seeing some episodes such as The Secret when they first premiered! I didn’t watch the show the day it first premiered but I did see the first several episodes not too long after the show premiered for the first time.

I actually prefer the oval shaped eyes compared to the circle eyes.
I prefer seasons 1 and 2 way more compared to the rest of the run. Just feels a lot more positive and charming. The later seasons feel way too cynical and like theyre trying way too hard to force references and fourth wall breaks.
Season 1 is extremely underrated.

Anais was so bratty this season but in the later seasons she grew to be much more laid back and enjoyed being involved in her brothers antics a lot more
I appreciate that in one of the later seasons had a episode of when Anais was a baby and was probably evil trying to kill Gumball and Darwin.
I miss S1 Banana Joe. Him not having eyebrows made him look hilarious and his sense of humor was best

I know people tend to talk about the later seasons more because theyre full of fourth wall breaks and all that, but Ive always preferred the first 2 or 3 seasons to be honest. There’s just this more goofy and positive charm to them, where the later seasons just use way too much cynical humor for my liking. Also season 1 has a lot more appealing art if you ask me.
