Haha lol. This video made ma laugh so hard when I first started to watch it. I haven't finished the video and only have way. Good job on the video, I hope you had fun making this video and if you would mind making more like these that would be awesome. But is this a one tike thing/joke. Then that's alright too. I usually don't thumb up video but this one deserves it.
Wouldn't expect any less from you Philip, my favorite analyst.
As much as this is satire, it also shows how rockstar can still polish this game even more, like how they did with RDR2 after the first trailer dropped
Hard to believe the game will look even better than the trailer, but given the past 2 rockstar games, I’m confident
1:00 i know this video is a joke but that shot there did catch me off guard, thought they would've used raytraced reflections for a scene like that, especially in the first public look we get of the game 😅
I loved the artificial boost of acceleration one
Screen space shadows as a form of level of detail system would be brilliant actually. As long as it is only used for objects in the distance it's a great way to do good looking shadows pretty cheaply. However I remember Halo reach attempted something like this that highlighted the characters and it didn't look very good. Now that you mentioned it I'm starting to look at all the shadows and see how smeary they are.
should have made a cinemasins parody
Rockstar please fix
This just shows that was actual in engine footage
"Sometimes to confuse the enemy, one must confuse themselves first 🗿🗿🗿."
*Art of War - Confused Sun Tzu*
Hold 👏 Rockstar 👏 accountable!!
finally some well deserved criticism R* really ought to better themselves before 2025
this entire toe sucking video is sarcasm
This video really helps you appreciate how well done this games graphics apparently looks lol! Though ofc that was probably a part of the goal.
This trailer was obviously thrown together by loads of pre-alpha assets. Release version is gonna be god-like
I'm surprised they didn't use raytracing for this trailer. Seems like it'd fix all the mentioned reflections/shadow issues
They did. Lol at the fat guy running from the police. You can see his reflection and gas station reflection
@@jippee1 That isn't raytraced. That are SSRs
@@jippee1You don't need to have ray-tracing to have good reflections, there are many other tricks that can make reflections convincing (Screen Space Reflections for example).
@@gustavodutra3633 Yeah, but for a first trailer of your heavily anticipated game you would probably try to make it look the best it could. Good reflections aren't _the best_ reflections, which you'd get with Raytracing
AAAAAND were back
I couldn't agree more, there's more to expect after a 10 year wait.
The consoles will ALWAYS hold us back... And they STILL get priority over PC for some reason!
I thought the same thing about the windows. How many can there really be? It's only one city.
...thousands?
cool, I wonder how much of this will improve or completely change by the next trailer and even more so by release, its rockstar so I wouldn´t be surprised if the game ends up looking quite a bit different and better
Just look at rdr2 trailers you can see the game improving over time
It's an ironic video
GTA Vs first trailer had so many GTA IV assets and lighting it wasn't even funny.
So, yeah the game will probably look way better on release.
@@jorge-wh4pf ...and?
While many things are jokes, many are genuine criticisms as well.
The rendering artifacts on the hair are a very big example.
@@Something_Disgusting You can't even really see that and that is probably just the movement animation. Im guessing it's console gamplay wich means you can expect this type of bug during rendering
Some of it was cinematic but the second shot in the jail was absolutely realtime
love the thumbnail, great work
So basically.... it's amazing.
you have a lot of good points here
valve, please fix
What do you mean Valve?
@@JACKRIDERPLAYZ small indie company
@@27dar_ I know who Valve is but why ask them to fix GTA when it's owned by Rockstar
@@JACKRIDERPLAYZ 3kliksphilip inside joke
literally unplayable
yeah it’s a trash game. they better not release it in 2025 because it needs a lot more work. like why is there not Peely from fortnite? We need him.
We're going to need a closer look at those ghost necklaces. Please, Rockstar!
The worst scene for me was when the guy was pulling the alligator out of the pool. It looked like a blurry mess. I think it was because of the "low quality phone overlay" though.
Great video I didn’t spot all off that at first glance… it looks like the usual gta 5 stuff
Why it was removed?
Hella funny as usual. NOT *borat voice*
Now i really want to see this with Borat's voice
