She really hit the nail on the head at 4:00. Carla goes into depth about how fashion/ photography genuinely was. There was no photoshopping, it was only the good hair, makeup, and perfect lighting that matter. There was no going back and editing for perfection. Models looked effortlessly gorgeous and realistic and that’s what makes true art. Especially during the Renaissance.

Carla Bruni’s family is originally Italian (as her last name indicates) and Carla herself was born in Italy and raised between Italy and France. Her family is well known in Italy, particularly her sister Valeria, who’s an actress and director active primarily in Italy. Carla went on to become the First Lady of France, so I get why you might say she’s more French than Italian, but I’d say she’s actually 50/50. Perhaps Italian-born and French naturalized would be a more accurate description.

Just simple things like wearing sunscreen everyday on your face and on your hands, never forgetting your neck and décolletage when doing skincare routines, and eating lots of vitamin and nutrient rich wholefoods make a world of difference according to these models.
