  • Two, three weeks ago, BlackMagic's PYXIS 6K was released, the brand's first camera that is in a square format. I have seen it, I have seen people's opinions, I have seen the characteristics it has. In this video I'm going to talk about that camera in relation to me as a cinematographer. About what I see, what things you still need to know before buying it, if it is interesting for a new piece of equipment that I would buy or to whom I would recommend the camera. Well, if you are interested in any of this, I recommend that you watch this video.

    PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT I USE
Canon RP (I also use it for my CZcams videos): amzn.to/4bTzn9e
Canon 6D mk2 (for photos I prefer SLRs with 1700 shots per battery): amzn.to/3IjVY0Q
Tamron 24-70 (very good option for photo and video): amzn.to/3UOmcAi
Sigma 50mm art (incredible sharpness, speed and beautiful lens reflections): amzn.to/48xmOxr
    CINEMA EQUIPMENT I USE
7" monitor (super bright, with SDI and HDMI, easy to use, high quality and at a very good price): link.pablonordea.com/4
Sony FX30 (I find it the most versatile camera in Sony's cinema line). Here you have it at the best price I have found: link.pablonordea.com/fx30
    Cage for the FX30 (good quality/price): amzn.to/3UPGHfX
BMPCC6K (I no longer have it but I recommend it): amzn.to/49PXmo0
VND filter (essential for cinema or similar options. This is my favorite): amzn.to/3DJhg6Q
Blur filter that I have on 95% of the time. It produces the effect on the lamp that you see in my CZcams videos: amzn.to/48yO7HN
    Video lenses I use:
Tokina 11-16 (same lens as cinema version but lighter, very smooth manual focus): amzn.to/3Ie2Rkp

Tamron 24-70 (very good option for photo and video): amzn.to/3UOmcAi
    SOUND EQUIPMENT I USE
Shotgun microphone (with the gain regulator it comes with, making it perfect for on-camera use): amzn.to/3IgVybC
    Wireless system (good quality/price): amzn.to/48wPart
Very good Lavalier or lapel microphone: amzn.to/4c5UzsP
Best sound recorder I've ever had: amzn.to/3Tet8FJ
Microphone to use on boom. I consider it to be the best that exists in relation to quality/price (very close to its older brother. The preferred in the industry): amzn.to/3wv3eVl
Boom or pole for the microphone (economical and very good quality): amzn.to/49QaHww
    LIGHTING I USE
I always prefer to rent large 400w or 600w equipment. But there are certain things that I have preferred to buy:
Small and very powerful LED spotlight: amzn.to/3TbCJNu
Small LED panel to give highlights (I have 4): amzn.to/49SzCQ7
Larger LED panels. Cheap and good quality: amzn.to/48wc7v1
