The actor absolutely nailed this role. As the series’ progressed, you could see Bodie maturing but becoming darker due to the change of circumstances. After the towers came down, Bodie rarely smiled after that.
Bodie was the toughest death to get over in The Wire. He represented the working class man that never quite achieved his full potential due to factors beyond his control. He had a good brain on him, was loyal to a fault, played by the rules that others created, stood his ground on real principles, listened to advice and grew as a person through the series etc I know Bubbles gets the plaudits for how he turned his life around, Bodie just never got the opportunity to fulfil his potential- so sad.
