    Looking forward to this thing. I used the M12 to top off my trailer tires (110psi) and it blew it up. Replaced under warranty and tried to top off my truck tires (80psi) and it blew too. Replaced under warranty again. Now I don’t inflate anything over passenger tires 35psi. Nice to see this thing able to actually operate at advertised psi and not blow up.

      M12 is still bad ass and compact. I’ve had mine for 2 years now and use it plenty. I bought one of those small husky tote bags and it fits in there nice with a 6 ah battery along with miscellaneous valve cores, valve removal tool, and plug kit. I am OCD when I cut my lawns and maintain the exact tire pressure every time. Very portable to move between vehicles and if your riding your motorcycle or on ATV trip with the boys it’s nice to have. It’s gonna be a while before we can get a decent price on that M18 inflator I will pick one up then.

    10 minutes to pump 70 psi totally isn't bad my dewalt 20v inflator takes 15 minutes just to go from 10psi to 35 psi so this milwaukee is impressive to me love my milwaukee m12 inflator

      The Dewalt inflator is better mostly because of having multiple options to power it. Most of my flats tend to winter to early spring so having that cigarette outlet as an option is a must I wouldn't want to keep my batteries out in my car in -20.
      I'm still happy with my M12 though, it gets me on the road and I'm almost always going to have an M12 Battery on me since I use it as a battery bank the M12 platform makes a good roadside kit.

I might have got a bad batch but I would skip the quick connect ends. I was able to air up a 37x12.5-17 from 14-30psi in 2:30. I bought two so now air up times are 5 minutes and I have a spare with me if one ever fails vs a dual arb which takes about the same time to fill 4 tires

      Air gets hot because of friction? Not that puny compressor, maybe in a jet engine, yes. In this case air gets heated from compressing it. Exactly the same theory in a diesel engine but obviously much much slower.

    • @AntonioClaudioMichael
      @AntonioClaudioMichael Před 2 lety

      @@firstname6208 all compressor hoses get hot because air is being Condensed and Creates frictions from the compressed air and that then builds up in the hose has the air is being forced out the hose while it's being used which is air Friction against the inside of the hose

    • @firstname6208
      @firstname6208 Před 2 lety +1

      @@AntonioClaudioMichael absolutely not. Compressing creates heat, condensing is cooling which reduces pressure. Turbo's create pressure which is heat, the cac condenses or cools the air so more can be packed into the cylinder. On a/c systems the compressor pushes the gas by compressing, then it goes into the condenser where it cools and turns into a liquid. So condensing and compressing are polar opposite actions. I stand by my conviction, that little compressor cannot move air fast enough to create air friction, approaching mach speed can create air friction, not that little compressor. Heat comes from compressing.

      Home Depot just posted this tool with a charger and 2 batteries for 200 bucks ... All that would be over 400 separately

    Red tool fan boy but sorry I dont care for it. Kinda bulky for what it is. It's ok as a back yard shed tool, which its design leans to but..If I'm pumping tires their probably on a vehicle that has a battery in it.
    My 12v pump is definitely faster. I can pump a 35-12.50-15 truck tire (that's alot of volume) from 12 psi to 55 psi in 8 min.

    I haven't seen this whole video yet but I read that it was underpowered by a random commenter. Let's see what you have to say and do with it.

    You didn’t mention if you could use it without setting a psi target.

    As good as this inflator is, there is still the hassle of charging the bettery!!! With the regular 12V inflator, all you have to do is to plug it in! There is no advantage to having a battery version!!!

      Sure there is. This inflator is meant for more than just cars and trucks. You can use it on Trailers, Bikes, Basketball, Tractors etc. It's a hassle to take panels apart get to the battery. What if the vehicle's battery is out, or your 12v wires are too short? Something like this is a surefire way to solve a problem.

    I’m going to stick with my trusty 12v inflator..it only took 4 minutes

      What 12v inflator do you have that does 80psi in 4 min? I don't know if any of them even do 35psi in 4 min.
