They were the best comedy team to this day. They were men that loved each other as brothers. So refreshing to see.

Nice to know after the big Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis act broke up later they became fine friends again !.
Dean's daughter Deann says that after Dean lost his son in 1987, jerry came to the service and they became good friends again----spoke weekly by telephone and meet from time to time. This for the next almost 9 years.

You can tell that there was always love for each other there. Just thought of something my mom always said that was... " I will always love you... I might not like everything you do". I think they always love each other just not like everything each other was doing.
Just so glad they was back to liking each other again at the end of Dean's life. They was a big part of my teens years. Loved them both
That is so well stated. They had such a profound love... and they just wanted to love again, and we wanted them to love...
In their early days, jerry was the one who always initiated the kids this is the first time I have seen Dean do it. He seemed so tender, broken. I read somewhere he felt these were the two big lives he lost, his son and jerry early on. We didn’t see Dean love like he loved Jerry.... he was never as open as I’m sure the pain was gear. Jerry was always in love with Dean. He never fully got over the break, although he moved ahead.
I miss them both and am grateful to them both for all they gave us.
