Very talented however she needs to find herself her own voice and style. It’s ok to be inspired by the greats but you got to find you, there was Sarah Vaughn, Carman Macrae, Betty Carter, Nancy Wilson, Glory Lynn, Etta Jones so many yet they all had there own voice and signature.
What a stunning talent is Samara Joy! Not just the voice, but the Presence, the Stillness, the absolute clarity of what she is singing. Amazing.
I’m Glad There Is Samara
Samara Joy IS a Superpower..no cape or gimmicks required
Here's to Ms. Joy. Such depth and control, phrasing and intonation are incredible and delivered with such feeling. Joy indeed!

The Grammy academy nominated and awarded Samara because of her "own" voice. They obviously didn't "think" she needed to find her voice.

Claudio Fioravanti veramente formidabile sulla via delle grandi del passato Ella, Sarah ecc.
Maravilhosa 😍
💓❣️💞💕👑
She has her own voice. When I hear her I know it's not Sarah, Ella, Carmen or Nancy. I know it's Samara!

Sassy reborn!
🥰Kudos all around. Who are the artists accompanying Samara?
When someone such as Ms. Joy is singing you DO NOT clap to the beat of the song. 🤦🏽♂️ Lol
Then you've never been to a real old school intimate jazz club.
We know where Ella's voice went.

Leave her alone let her sing!
She has all it takes and all the time to develop even further, also stylistically.
