The Let's Dance, Boys! remaster is not cancelled by the way. I'm just busy with 2 commissions at the moment and still working on Bayonetta's model. Once I'm done with Bayo I'll do Rodin, Luka and Cereza since they're in the background for a few scenes (Joy is done already) then I'll move on to environments and figuring out which rendering engine I'll be using. I honestly had no idea this was going to be such a big project when I started working on it! Sorry you guys have to wait so long, I promise it'll be worth it :)

This angle really showcases how energetic and expressive this dance is in comparison to Let's Dance Baby

I see Let's Dance Boys more as Bayonetta expressing herself. Whereas Let's Dance Baby as Bayonetta calling the world to dance with her. If that makes sense XDD Both definetly have their own unique perks.

@@larshmallows there's a lot still camera in let's dance baby as it is already, the choreography in general is just a lot more uniformed and tamed compare to this one, as in the rest of the game.

As a dancer, I can tell you that she's overrated, she has that typical boring Japanese style of dancing consisting in moving their arms around, that's stiff and repetitive, and that's basically all there's to say about it. Let's Dance Boys only look decent because it has been fasten and the dynamic camera angles hide a bit of the flaws of the choreography but when you're a dancer, you can still see everything that is wrong. She did some parts good in the games but those parts look so different from LDB that I wonder if that's really the same dancer or if she just didn't steal some steps from another dancer (which is much more common than you would imagine) for the moves in the game and she entirely made up the choreography of LDB. Ofc that's still better than Bayonetta 3's LDB and dancing in general which is boring af but I regret that they didn't hire a western dancer for the Bayonetta games instead of a Japanese one because it's quite odd to see a mature western woman -from the medieval times- dancing like a Japanese teenager.
Edit: She's still better than a lot of Japanese dancers though ! I want to precise it !

Or more like that motion cap dancer is right handed. I saw in the documentary that platinum just let the dancer listen to the music and do whatever she wanted.

Yeah that´s the problem with the camera on the original video, it didn't help to appreciate the choreo.
@@shodri92 Some of the angles they went for were good (the side-on for the final slide, for example), but far too many just circled her while zoomed in and made it harder to follow along with what was happening.

You can tell that some of the movements from this dance were taken for the summons and the taunt.
It also looks like they took the bottom half of the move at 3:09 to create bayos iconic walking animation. Or at least they took inspiration from Maiko. Or I am just tripping.

It’s truly amazing that this is (for the actress) after running late, asking during the interview to listen the music sample she should have already listen to and then making this under her second time hearing the music.
It’s safe to say that this is only a taste of her true ability and the queen is never caught lacking
At first I tried to make an excuse for the frenzy camera angle , thinking that maybe they wanted to make the dance more dynamic or something like that. But after watching this version I cannot make such excuse anymore: it is perfectly enjoyable to watch and very expressive even with a still camera and green screen. I updated the animation and am currently working on recreating the camera in Blender so I can make a remaster of it
Goddess, I've been waiting for a vid like this for years (to learn the dance if I must say), perfectly well done! To be honest I understand the 3rd version's moves are easier for people to follow, personally still prefer the 1st one, complex but cooler, more graceful and stylish.
