I’ve had Blade Master Weng for a while, and it’s definitely a contender for my figure of the year. For context, I’m a Legions collector too, and this is definitely en par in terms of quality of sculpt and paint, but I’d say it actually goes further than Legions in terms of articulation. And Maestro Union *”officially”* does the Veteran Williams werewolf and Crocker crocodile that folks have in hand now. But the sharks you might be referencing are by a company Fury Toys (vs Maestro Union’s “Furay Planet” toyline), and there’s bears by Memory Toys, orcs by Star and Hero Toys, etc. On paper they’re different companies, but I’ve heard some claim that they’re the same company using different company names on releases for addressing copyright issues. For example, Furay’s Crocker is a tight homage to a TMNT character without being licensed. But as to whether they’re actually the same company, I haven’t seen anything definitive on that, and imho it’s a little sketchy to assume because I’ve seen some literally say all toys sold on 5kToys are being made by “the same company” or some weird mix of a bunch of the companies. It feels problematic and gets people assuming some sort of monolithic “Chinese companies” claim that I’d rather not parrot until there’s clear facts to back it up. I personally love the Furay Planet line and Weng definitely has me excited for what else is coming. I’m not too into the headsculpt of their rabbit, but the jackal looks hot. Oh! One more thing. Sculptor (and Legions fan) Seba Dom sculpted Blade Master Weng. This might also be confusing the situation with these companies since so many of them contract out the same pool of talented designers and sculptors now, thanks to the possibilities of the internet, 3D digital sculpting, 3D printing / prototyping, etc. 🤓 It’s a GREAT and FASCINATING time to be a nerdy toy collector. BTW love your channel. If you get a sec, would appreciate if you check out mine. ✌🏾➕✊🏾

Thanks for the info on this line, and i agree on the rabbit. Not getting him unless I had a hefty discount on the figure, the head looks too human which is unsettling. Thanks for checking out the review!

Better design than ML in my opinion. Also deftly fits within many lines as support characters.

Found this while looking for the Yolopark Transformers figures on Amazon and he looks really cool. I hope there's other figures in this line eventually, like a Polar Bear or Sloth.
EDIT: So far there's a croc, old master rabbit, wolf and a pair of pandas.
