How have you fixed CV joints rubber boots not the spill out the oil at high speeds? When I ran 282, the boot came off of the half shaft and there's was oil everywhere. Are you using OEM boots?

Why I am asking, because i lost mine- Makes me so sad, I had to leave mine on a parking for a month, and it was like paid, but then turned out no security. The robbed my old good 1998 V40 t4, it has some sensor issues, but in general it was running pretty good for its age with 200hp. I was making fun of many cars which are newer, but don't run like my old turbo Volvo. This is one of the strongest engines, and there is a reason why in Europe we have this car, as one of the known old cars for power tuning, like they do Supras, NSX's, R32's, Chaser's. I sold it for 600EUR with engine and a lot of things, but they stole rims, batter, headlights, fuel rail, broke the handle, broke some small things here and there. Now I no longer have my t4, and I feel sad looking at the car you have sir. So fast and crazy tuned. Congrats, happy to see they are keeping these t4s still.

Most of them however are easy to fix yourself and at least Volvo's are designed smart so that fixing is easy not to mention all the basic maintenance things that are also easy to do like for example changing of light bulb takes around 1 minute etc. I got S40 T5 -08 driven 210k and I haven't had other issues than wiring loom from the boot wore and snapped (known problem to happen after +-10 years). However it was super easy to fix, took maybe 1-2 hours or so because we drank few too many installation beers to make the time go more smoothly. :D Otherwise I've loved the car so far. I also had mk1 S40 T4 before but had to sell it as it was getting rusty. It's hard to say which one I like better, but as the T5 is newer, it has some nice new features like rain sensors etc. which ofc aren't necessary but fun to have. The engine in both are reliable but if you are planning to tune it, then the old T4 is better because you need to change a lot of things if you want to go over ~280hp with the T5. However if the stock 230hp is enough for you like it is for me now as I need the car for my daily driving, then you don't have to worry about anything. Comparing both as stock (from memory) I think 0-100 is quite the same but like 80-140 with the T5 goes amazingly well (just the speed that you need normally for overtaking safely). Tho it has been a long time since I drove the T4 so can't remember exactly how it went 80-140. Would be interesting to test against some stock T4 but there aren't too many places or events where you can do that..

All oem joints and rubbers. I have little leaking now. Have to do something.

The V50 and S40 2004 and up are shit. Lots of problems with them. Ac issues and electronical issues

Why would you need an airbag at 340km/h? Hope such thing never happens, if there is a crash at this speed, I don't think airbag will be a factor.
