That second round from Unan shook Raptor to the core, won it on the spot regardless of the rest of the battle. Used to seeing Ryan take personals in rounds but this was next level.

He may have lost (barely) in his title shot to Tony D, and he did have a rough patch as you said, but Unan has cemented himself as one of the UK's Battle Rap Greats. Like him or not, no honest person could deny his input on the scene.

First, Tony edged every round which I'd call a light 3-0. I put that in the same category as a hard 2-1, both I consider an edged win. A body only happens when the other side doesn't/can't fight back e.g.
Dizaster vs Canibus
Real Deal vs Tony D
Chilla Jones vs Prep
O'Shea vs Elz
Shuffle T vs Anton Murphy
Etc.
Second, Unan put up a great fight. He lost but it wasn't a body.
The most one-sided title match in DF that I remember would be... probably Tony D vs Deffinition.

I think Deff vs Tony was wayyy closer than Tony vs Unan, Tony came much harder for Unan and i think Deff was better than Unan. Might even give the first round to Deffinition.
@@ayyguevara8448 Fair enough. I forgot about Soul Vs Raptor as well. A rare example of Raptor being on form but being absolutely dominated.
Deffinition was very "of his time", a relic of when DF and UK battle rap in general was mainly recycled sickipedia joke's in rhyming form. Tony outclassed him.
On the subject of Deffinition: Peak for peak Unan would rip his head off, in my opinion. I think Tony had to work harder against Unan. In fact, I think it was the hardest title match Tony faced. Luckily for him Unan beat Dialect for top contender and lost the match which allowed Tony to vacate the title. Dialect or Soul would have took it from him.

Raptor was really rapping, but this wasn't enough. Too emotional. Unan stayed composed and knew where to attack. Raptor talking loads of shit about his mum, and then gets worked up when Unan mentions his daughter. Then talking about "say that outside". No need to, it's a battle. Unan made this look easy.
Pretty sure unan choked a bit in the 1st.raptors slowed down his delivery a bit, you can tell.he still uses the rapid fire multi stuff (which is🔥btw) but hes getting his message across alot better nowadays.i cant call this one.raptor said bare disrespectul shit about unan's old dear but when unan did the same shit back raptor wanted to "take it outside" afterwards 🤷♂️ id say raptor one though.bar content and delivery were on point. 😂😂😂 read my post back and i said "i cant call it" and "id say raptor won though " 😂😂😂 in the same sentence pretty much. Josh 85 I can understand an argument for Raptor’s material being better (not that I agree) but I literally cannot fathom how you can watch a battle in which one man SPITS at another man because they can’t take the same amount of shit that they give out and then claim that that man won. Raptor fucking embarrassed himself in this. On a professional note as well, to act like that and fuck up a hugely anticipated battle for hundreds of people (myself included) who paid 30 odd quid + travel to be there, is a disgrace.

Hughesy Plays clutching at straws there mate. We all know full well that pretty much anything (verbal) goes in a battle. When Caustic absolutely roasted Jefferson back at the DF 4th Birthday, he didn’t then come off stage and spit the bars back at him to provoke a reaction. Shotty didn’t spit his bars at Tony D at the bar after their face off. Pat Stay didn’t go looking for Shotgun Suge after their recent clash to repeat his bars at him to wind him uo. And so on etc The point is, “try saying that to me after the battle” is just a bully trying to save face whilst being schooled in front of all his other bully boy mates on how to slay battle rap.
And most of us can see right through it.
On a wider note, Raptor’s bars about being a ‘changed man’ and ‘learning from his mistakes’ didn’t take long to look laughable, as by mid second round he was already losing the temper he appeared to be boasting was now under control...
Unan on this form is different gravy - just hope he remains consistent in 2020 👍

Raptor didn't have the crowd onside from the start, and then spent the rest of the battle alienating them even more.
He frequently blames or berates the crowd when his bars don't land. It's actually really offputting to be in the audience and hear a battler say that. It isn't the crowd's fault that some rappers are less good at commanding their attention
