"Under no circumstance do we shoot Wanderlei"
Is actually quite a common phrase
It will just piss him off more.
@Tyler Simmons if u shot vandalie right between the eyes ... the only difference it would make is that he would make a whistle when he ran 😁🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Shooto boxe
Pretty sure crazy horse has shot at him a few times lol
@@michaelmcinally5899 😂
Mark is tough as hell. Get better soon!
Mark is a good guy. 💯🙏
guy's a Legend
Hella funny
I remember
Ayy Grandmaster
Hello Grandmaster 👋
lol " we don't shoot Wanderlei!!"
This reminds me of the couture story. These old ufc guys are a different breed!
I just posted basically the exact same comment 😂 it’s true!
Wrestlers not ufc
@Facts, Not Feelings i knew someone had beat me too it.
It’s the wrestlers man. It’s the wrestlers.
GET WELL COLE......Sending positive vibes your way brother
Glad he’s ok 🤝
"under no circumstance do we shoot Wanderlei" and he's like" well, that's what I do"- Uncle Chael, November 2020
“ probably not gonna pay you back, but i owe yah “ bro im dead 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Coleman and Phil baroni taking on wanderlei and the entire Brazilian team when Coleman slammed rua. That was classic.
Omg...Did Uncle Chael, owner of the biggest arms in Oregon, just shed a few tears?! I better shed a few too...
What happened with Mark reminds me about what happened with Randy where he just walked to the hospital after having a heart attack. The old school is just a different breed😂😂😂
its just a itch roll it out lmfao. oh it wasnt a itch. walk it off on the way to the hospital. fucking savages.
Fighters from that era were doing it for the love of the sport and competition, cause there was no money. It takes a certain level of raw toughness to thrive in that era.
Today we mourn the loss of the Leg Cross.
If you're wondering why I capitalised the words Leg Cross then you don't belong at this funeral.
I offer this to you because if you don't miss the Leg Cross, you may not be a Leg Cross fan, or maybe you're not a Chael fan, Ok great.
I only bring this to you because the Leg Cross grew up just down from The Biggest Arms in West Linn and we all know that can't have been easy.
R.I.P Leg Cross. . .
That IS a very real thing.
Scott Beavan came out, aaand he said something
This begs the question, how good was Leg Cross?
I got teary reading this
@Dead Man ok great but this begs the question where does Kevin Lee fit in this?
“No matter what happens, we don’t shoot Wanderlei!” 😂😂😂 i have idea if that part is real or not... but thats great storytelling!!
Mark is a lucky man. He's lucky Chael was in a giving mood because he had no idea he was playing with the baddest man on the planet.
Yeah he had the biggest arms on the planet, but even more impressive is that he has the biggest arms in west Linn
I lived down the street from Mark, in Columbus, OH. Couldn't be a nicer man. Get Well Mr. Coleman!!
Mark Coleman and Dan Severn were pioneers. Young fans should also research Mark Kerr and Kevin Randleman.
This is one of the best stories coming out of the "Bad Guy Inc." archives ... Heal up, 'Hammer'!
God bless Mark and his daughters. Get well soon champ
“But that’s still were MMA was...till I came along.” The little smile chael had when he said that 😂
I saw that too, lol. He single-handedly changed the game, ushering in the "Entertainment Era."
Oddly similar story to when Randy had his heart attack
What a tough bastard
It’s because of steroids
@@detectivedowny1145 what the heart attack yeah p.e.ds are hard on the heart 9 out of 10 long term roid users usually have bad heart problems
@@detectivedowny1145 Did Randy do steroids?
@@woogbag4744 I would imagine since both Chael and Hando have been popped and they are all partners.
@@woogbag4744 Never popped, but Team Quest aren't the cleanest guys so stands to reason that motivation wasn't the only thing that kept Couture going.
“Under no circumstance do we shoot Wanderli” is the funniest shit I’ve ever heard
Heart attacks suffer from Chael Sonnens and NEVER survive
I met Mark Colman at one of the early UFC's. 1998 ( i think ) in New Orleans. was the one that Frank Shamrock slammed Igor and ko'd him. Mark was there and came up to me and talked to me for about 10 minutes. really really nice guy. talked about his fight with Don Frye and his loss to Maurice Smith.
Lucky. Frank Shamrock, Mark Coleman, and Wanderlei Silva are my top 3 fighters.
Just heard an Angle shoot interview where he talked about having to find some kind of edge because he kept getting smashed by Coleman and Kerr, weird that Uncle Chael brings it up now! He read my mind!
Mark Coleman was one of my favourite fighters in his day, and still one of my all-time favourites. One of the guys that made me want to wrestle. I never had the success he had but god bless the guy and hope he gets well soon! True hero of the sport!
Much luv for Mark n hope he's okay❤
I saw Mark Coleman corner Wes Sims live at the Arnold Classic, in a classic debacle where the rules were displayed on a movie theater-size screen and Yamasaki nonetheless rewarded a Gracie with a win over Sims via some very illegal knees on the ground. Coleman also made a big speech before the event, where he invited Joe Frazier into the ring. I can't remember what they said, exactly, but I just remember that they were incredibly classy and full of heart. They thanked the fans for supporting them and basically said they hoped they enjoy the show. But the way they said it, and the respect and honor that Coleman showed Frazier, was just something special. The way he turned his career around after getting the boot from the UFC and winning the Pride Grand Prix was just an amazing story too. He wasn't supposed to win it, it wasn't supposed to be his moment, but he did it anyway. What an awesome fighter and athlete.
Kerr vs Coleman would have been amazing. I know they trained together but the two most dominate wrestlers up until then would have been awesome to watch.
@@MPerry-ox9qb Absolutely, absolutely. Kazuyuki Fujita spoiled that match-up for us, I guess. That would have been amazing though.
Mark Coleman is a great man. Talked with me a little back and forth on Instagram. Awesome guy and a beautiful family
Chael: "I'm just a little kid with a dream"
Aren't we all Chael, aren't we all.
Mark is a very fan friendly man. I have met him several times around town. I was In Downtown Columbus one time waiting for a valet to bring my car, mark was standing there waiting fir his as well. I shook his hand and got a photograph with him. My wife was pregnant and he spoke with her about children and how much he loved his daughters. This was right after the bonner fight. Another time years later at the bmv I waved to him and said “hi champ” and he came over and spoke to my 3 daughters who were very little at the time. He correctly guessed their ages and talked to them. A great man. I hope he is doing well.
I got to meet Mark Coleman about 12 years ago, great guy! Great guy!!!!! Get well soon my man.
The ending is one of those heartfelt movie endings with "To be continued? "
That was the best story ever. Cheal is the man, and if he is not than Mark is.
Gotta love it! Uncle Chael shows his humanity and stops being an absolute Savage for a second just to shout out his friend. And give his respect where it's "owed".
i remember when coleman fought shogun rua in pride and shogun broke his arm during a takedown, then the Japanese referee tried to get coleman out of shogun and Coleman pushed the referee , so it started a fight between chute box and coleman mates.
Coleman literally coined the term "Ground and pound". Chael took that concept to the highest of levels.
Love "The Hammer!" Mark Coleman one of the All Time Greats!!!
Coleman was the first fighter I thought looked unstoppable after winning his first two tournaments and beating Severn for the HW belt.
Uncle Chael hit us with some heart strings today!!
Coleman and hammer house once had a brawl with Wanderlei and Chute Box in Pride, Coleman broke Shoguns arm in a match (looked like a freak accident) but Wanderlei ran in the ring and a big brawl ensued, at one point Coleman stomped on Wanderleis neck.
Love Mark...truly one of the badest bad asses ever!! Chael interview Mark sometime and post it. I think it would be big hit!!
That's great! Awesome story... Wishing 'The HAMMER' a healthy recovery🙏
Mark is a legend. One of my all time favorites. And a great guy. I hope he gets better.
Top 3 Chael P stories ever IMO. Get well soon Hammer. 👊🏽 🤼♀️ ✌🏽
Awesome story Chael! Mark was the first "star" I met at some warehouse fights in 1999. He was in Atlanta with Tim Catalfo getting ready for the Pride Grand Prix. He was super cool and we'd stayed in touch a little over the years.
Love your videos chale appreciate all your content.
Man I am not sure if your audience really picked up on what you just did there in this vid, but you are a good man Chael and godspeed to Coleman.
One of the best story of the year. Thanks uncle Chael.

Beautiful video brother 👊
Your Chaotic Good Trolling is an inspiration to me good sir. Fantastic story teller as well... Cheers to the living Legend Colman
Such a great story.
Wow....
Mark ull always be a legend
Being in the UFC hall of fame isn’t enough. He needs to be spoken about more. In the UFC’s primitive conception he displayed the ground work (pun intended) for the future of the UFC with how Dominant American wrestling would be become. Laying down the Hammer! 🔨
Love you Chael . Love you all appreciate you ❤️⚒
Lots of love from Alberta Mark 🥰
I love these stories
One of the greatest!
"probably never gonna pay ya back... BUT I OWE YA" Damn Unk. You are a true great. You being you is a good thing

Chael “I had to ride around in a bulletproof car” Sonnen.
Love this story 👍👍
Get well soon Mark. True legend.
Uncle Chael is the best 🇺🇸
Love story time with Chael
I’m late to the show but great story Chael
Seriously Uncle Chael, the way you tell stories and the way you speak really makes me feel like im sitting right there criss cross applesauce at your feet on the carpet listening to my own uncles tell awesome stories.
Get well and be safe Mark
Big Dan Severn, the Beast was always my favorite. Dude won over 100 fights.
