      Those esses look innocuous but it’s easy to ruin your lap there and get a bad exit onto the straight.

    Really nice video, I think I tried that damn chicane like 100 times, no chance of getti g through with more than 210 kmh... well, silver is nice too I guess... dammit

      Death chicane certainly lives upto it’s name.
      The trick is to get as close to the right hand wall as possible to open up the first left of the chicane. This makes it straighter so you can take more speed through.
      Still very tricky though and easy to smash your car up 😂

      @@PM10Racing i really tried, and I watched like all the top guys, how they do it... but while I have your attention: is it possible that the changing of the in-race setting of the controller sensitivy does absolutely nothing? So its completely the same if you have it on -2 or 10... you ever noticed that?

      @@Targon999 I’m on wheel so I’ve never really given it any thought actually mate.
      It does make a difference on the controller (or so I’m told) but I’m terrible on a pad so I can’t say for sure.
      You do mean the steering sensitivity don’t you?

    As if you it 210km threw the chicane 🎉intense. The fastest I went threw was 176, lap time 1:41. I can see where I lose my time

      There’s definitely a couple of tenths here for you for sure.
      The trick is to get the car as close to the right hand barrier as you can without hitting it to open up the first part of the chicane. The line becomes straighter if you do this and therefore easier to carry more speed.
      Have a look at your replays to see how close to the right hand barrier you are as a starting point. Good luck 👍🏼

      Track limits are very lenient on these GT7 circuits aren’t they. However we just take what it gives us ! The same for everyone I suppose.
      The Olympic time trial a few months ago had stricter track limits

    Not that difficult but also not that easy either. I continued my Gr. 3 run with the Nissan and HAD a provisional gold. Of course I am doing it on AT, but regardless, I think the Supra is comparatively more prone to understeer than the Nissan Nismo GT3 for my liking. I think the best time would still improve to a high 1:35 and the hard part with this track is that getting the chicane right can earn about 0.3-0.5 seconds, but it takes a lot of practice and patience to be able to do that.
    Separately, both the Laguna Seca and Goodwood OTT happens to be what I called super hard levels where less than 5% players earned gold, and of course the Laguna OTT was like this partially due to the downshift exploit which I hope they could fix or penalize. The Barca and Dragon Trail OTTs are comparatively easy in this sense.

      I happen to agree that the supra is a little bit understeery vs the GTR but it’s pretty good from a torque and top end point of view so I can see why it’s popular this week.
      The Catalunya and Dragon trail TT are both GR3 cars which does make it a little easier vs the high power low grip road cars with now downforce. GR3 and GR4 cars seem to level the playing field a little bit.
      Nevertheless, you still need to be inch perfect on this one to get a decent time and although it’s a rather simple circuit there are many corner which can catch you out.
      Keep pushing it mate I’m sure you can get a firm gold on this one.

      ​@@PM10Racing I dont actually mind those high power low grip cars in principle, it's just that this is a TT where the top player influences the G/S/B cut-off times, and if he's exploiting the downshift thing, it's not fair to the 95% of us who aren't able to exploit it. Those kind of TT can be fun to drive if PD picks a right combination.
      I suppose it is easier on the GTR for me because the Supra requires early manual upshifting for the best performance which cannot be done on AT (😅). The GTR by comparison is better balanced and less understeering which allows for a more straightforward control input if timed well. This is probably also the case for me during the Le Mans TT when everyone else had their best lap with the Sauber but I need to use the R92C to get my best time out.

      @@stormmeansnowork I think it’s good to have a go to car (in your case the GTR) as it helps you get to know it better and discover it’s intricacies.
      The GR3 & GR4 are easier to get nearer the gold times but I think half the fun of the OTT is driving a tricky car round a tough track.
      Currently there are 3 active TT and all 3 are GR3 so hopefully they will change it up next week.
