Australia’s biggest maritime mystery is solved after 80 years. HMAS Sydney was sunk by a German raider in the Indian Ocean in World War 2. All of the sailors died in the attack. After 3 months, one body washed up in a life raft on Australia’s Christmas Island. Till now, he was called ‘Unknown sailor’. Now, He has a name. Thomas Welby Clark.

The US governor of Oklahoma state has halted the execution of prisoner Julius Jones hours before he was due to be put to death. Jones was sentenced to death for killing an insurance agent Paul Howell during a carjacking in 1999. He maintains his innocence. His case came into the limelight and gained public support because of the documentary series ‘The Las Defense’.
His sentence has been converted to life imprisonment without parole.
