    Cool i think i am going to try illustrator for crosshatchin instead krita. I like krita for inking outlines because i like the feeling from pen sensitivity more than illustrator but seems i can save time with crosshatching by using 5 or more lines brush.

    Thank you!! Around 6:05 the blob brush strokes seemed to snap to your earlier strokes and fill the area accurately. What setting or option makes that happen?

    okay how do we adjust the pressure values if we are using a mouse in place of a tablet (cause i don't have one as yet)

      I haven’t watched the video in a while so forgive me if I’m wrong, but I think I went over how you can just draw a line and thicken one end of it to get the same shape as you would with a pressure sensitive tablet. Then use that to make a brush. From there the pressure values don’t matter. Hope that helps!

    When i make a line using brush tool with mouse (i dont have pen yet) it doesnt let me do it freestyle. the program fixes automatically the zig zags from the line.

    umm you've already have a good outline (the pink ones), you should use 'K' (Live paint bucket) for a lot faster coloring rather than coloring with blob brush, just make sure your outline have no "holes / leaks". Cool tutorial though

      You can to an extent, though it’s not exactly the same. You can create paths with the pen tool in photoshop but then you’ll have to define the stroke. Here’s a video I just found that explains it!

      Thanks! I also have an iPad with Procreate that I like a lot nowadays. But I also like to find ways to do things with the bare minimum, especially for tutorials in case some people don’t have the same stuff. But I’d love one of those huge Huion tablets someday!

    The time spent copy-pasting lines and creating brushes and more copy pasting could have been put towards just doing the work, drawing the damn thing yourself... I've had a Wacom since 2005, and I Still feel like digital art is cheat-ish feeling.
