The Power Rangers 2017 Movie! Nobody saw it. It flopped in the theaters. I made a whole video on why it failed, the lack of a timely ad campaign, mundane snapchat filters, bad toys alike, it kept feeling less like Power Rangers and more of a teen drama movie. Grossing over $85 million in the USA and $56 million around the world, the studio lost $74 million, and Lionsgate, the ones who make Twilight and Hunger Games have no time to play, but people wanted a sequel, we saw the end of the movie, we saw Tommy late to detention, we saw the news articles, female Tommy, several sequels planned apparently? All not happening, and now I gotta see twitter posts every other week saying we failed this movie, featuing any minute clip of the movie with pure humor and emotion. We are never getting that sequel...except we did when the movie came out, in the comics, I never read it, until now, its only been seven years, lets read it!

I remember I auditioned for the green ranger!! I have the comic book sequel but no green ranger but thanks to Patrick sky made a comic book sequel to the movie.

That book feels more like a Power Rangers movie more than the actual movie.
Maybe the 2017 Power Rangers could have been better if it wasn't a remake of MMPR, and instead be a USA exclusive PR team.
You know what, I liked the film. It wasn’t perfect and there were definitely some things I’d change but I enjoyed it a lot overall.
I liked it too saw it in theaters and twice on digital
Billy needed talk about his trauma, “him dying”and have someone find the green power coin to create the Psycho green ranger. That would’ve been a better cliff hanger than apex.
Think they should continue the movie universe in the comics
Or show the movie gang/the suits in the Power Rangers live action series

A video idea I have in mind unless you already done it is the special treatment the sixth Rangers got in the beginning vs what they get now. What I mean is that throughout the Saban and Disney era sixth Rangers would receive their own exclusive morph sequences, morph call and have their own unique name (Quantum Ranger, Lunar Wolf, Omega Ranger etc.) However ever since the Neo Saban era sixth Rangers have been treated as your average team member such they no longer have their own exclusive morph sequence, morph call and now they just go by their respective colors but even a creative way like Titanium or Mercury just Gold or Silver. I figured would be a fun topic to discuss and maybe even find out why they don't receive the same kind of special treatment anymore
E-Squad could make a better power rangers movie than that 2017 nonsense.

I was 10 or 11 when MMPR came out. Always hated Jason, until this movie. LOVED this movie.
It was pretty much what I wanted the show to be its own thing NOT reliant on Sentai footage and like the OG movie- cool looking costumes.
Hate that Hasbro never gave us a Movie Lightning Collection line.

I didn’t see it the first time but my girlfriend has been getting the Ranger rundown and we watched the 2017 movie and I didn’t expect to feel so strongly that Jason was a trash Red Ranger as a leader
Then seeing it again and realizing movie Zack was doing Jason’s job for him was crazy

Here me out, a movie series of power rangers connected to the movie. Where Rito brings goldena and fights the power rangers, Rito loses, but not after summoning all evil in the universe ( this would not interest Zed, Tommy would be in this movie with him being evil for half the movie ).
Third movie, the villains of other seasons would come and fight the rangers, the other teams would help ( it would be said/ implied that the red and gold zeo rangers along as black Dino thunder died), Jason and Tommy would get their other powers from the seasons they get them( not turbo for Tommy). The rangers would win but Zed shows up in a fog of smoke, this someone saying a funny one liner ( not all rangers will be fleshed out, only the ones important to the movie. Some more will be fleshed out in the fourth movie).
Fourth, the end of the third movie would show but it’s longer now. Zed uses the energy of the fallen villains using his staff making him 30 times stronger. The rangers wouldn’t be strong enough to beat him, so they retreat. Zordon tells them about titanis, the rangers find it and use it against Zed (Zed became giant after absorbing the power) to no avail. The other rangers would summon their ultrazords, but they still couldn’t win. Zordon thinks of a plan, and it’s how in space ended. All the rangers are reluctant, but eventually give in and do it. There is no more zordon, but no more Zed. The rangers can now finally rest.
For some extra info, the second movie would be a week after the first movie, with the third being a few days after that, and the fourth being the same day as the third. Instead of Andros, Jason or Tommy would destroy Zordon. There will be an end credit scene of the ghost of Zordon watching the rangers and him saying, “Let’s go” as it shows the rest of the dead rangers.

I never read the comics. I have collected all the hardcover. The rewatching all the power rangers on my ninja storm. Then I plan to go through the comics.
With that being said, I agree they should do the movie comic series.
I know they did a follow-up to hyper Force but hyperforce. Also, it's hard to get through as an audio story because there's a lot of The cast having fun and what not. But if you want to hear a story, it's hard to get to. So I think they should retell the hyper Force through like a game issue series.
Also, you have Saban so there's no reason to not have masked Rider beetleborgs and VR troopers comics.
And do a whole multiversal crossover story involving all of it them at one point
Hey, I watched the movie, and in my opinion it turned out pretty good, pretty and very good
With Power Rangers goo exclusively to Netflix, I hope we get another movie, but with a better Megazord design and more scenes of the rangers morphed

I like the movie that it focuses on them become stranger, friend and best friend then a movie the chemistry between them was so good, the only reason why it flop cause they only get in their suit once which I honestly didn't like the suit that much for sure if we got a sequel, I totally believe we would got more of them in their suit and better suit and the zoid to and also Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, I mix with her cause she was cringle most scene but when she drown Billy that when we knew she was evil, if she did more stuff like that I would love her
Yeah, I honestly think the reason no one saw the movie is because it looked like nothing new, with a terrible aesthetic.
