  • I saw these cute little flowers on Pinterest and had to make some! You could use any kind of twine, string or yarn.

    Honestly, it was a TINY bit hard to understand that you had to go under and around otherwise you don't get the knots. I didn't do that and just kind of went around, didn't hold. Watched it again and payed more attention, and the end result was FABULOUS I used string and it worked JUST as well!! This is fun and I LOVE it. I'm putting it on a decorative pillow!

    Thanks for taking the time to make this terrific tutorial! I can just see this out of so many different fibers...changing the colors to coordinate with my card or mini album. Pearl cotton embroidery thread comes to mind...and I like the idea of a thicker crochet strand. I love these flowers!

    ingeious.fantastic,something to play with that i havent got to go buy supplies.the jig/loom is a gr8 idea especially for those of us financially challenged.thank u so much 4 sharing.i think i shall paint some with white acylic they would look gr8 on my shabby-chic projects.also inexpensive hair, slides n shoes n bags.well the ideas r endless,off to make me & friend a loom each,then create.thanx again....sue

    TWINE, oh yeah, time to hit up the Dollar Tree! Not sure the difference between Twine and Jute but this could work for both.

    @nghox Yes that is what I used. The twine is too thick to go through a regular needle. Hope you give it a try.

    I cut a 2.5 inch styrofoam circle in half and found that reusing the holes are more stable than the cardboard circle.
