  • Learn to read atomic notation so that you can identify how many PROTONS are in a particle (corresponds to symbol AND to the number in the bottom left corner), how many NEUTRONS are in a particle (mass number MINUS protons) and how many ELECTRONS are in a particle (based on charge ... negative charge = extra electrons).
