The thing that just gives me the biggest smile, and what truly warms my heart, is that the two of you can SHOW how important you are to each other. You don’t even really have to try. You can see it in your faces, in your eyes. How you speak with and to one other. It shows that you all genuinely care for each other. Which is not only the basis of a true love, but the basis for a true human relationship that is essential for humanistic growth period. This is how i can tell what you’ve both said in other videos to be true. “We have had our issues but we try our best to work them out.” I’m so glad you chose to make this combined channel to not only showcase your lives together, but to showcase what effort in a relationship (romantic or otherwise) can really do for the soul. This was so lovely! Your chat about communities in nature really reminded me of a film I saw last year called leave no trace. If you guys haven’t seen it you definitely should! It’s very different from your average film but it’s really interesting and thought provoking and includes different perspectives on different communities kind of like what you mentioned

K guys, I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, Ca. Lived there 33 years. Now I live in Hawaii. Been here 10 yrs. One trade-off for the lush green landscapes, & blue water is there are very few animals so if you love trees and nature I would definitely stay in California. Oregon has the long summer nights light till 10pm. I would totally have u as guest but I live with Mom and my baby. Oh yeah educational system is really bad. I stayed not by choice but to support my mom & 91 yr old grandma but I get really really homesick. Very hard change to endure, much love to u both.
Yes so there is a reason property is cheap here, I can only think of like 5 animals we have. Plus if u go on vacation from Hawaii, you can count on all your stuff being gone when u return. I'm sorry I really don't want burst bubbles but is a way better place to come to for a vacation. No lakes, no Santa Ana winds. Cali is truly paradise. Oh yeah also no night life or good restaurants in Hawaii if u guys r into conscious health, you might be some of the very few cause it's poor eating over here. Plate lunches with mostly meat & shootz I want to go home!!!! Aloha if u have any questions, ask away!

My hubby and I stayed at the one in Georgia for three days for our 24th Anniversary last year and it was magical. We went in the summer so we were able to use the outdoor fire pit a lot to cook and make s’mores. We definitely plan to go back. Favorite part of the cabin was the window. We watched the lighting bugs at night and the stars above the mountain tops.

I have lived in a community-style living environment. There are so many great things about it, but it is definitely important to find a community which on a deep level matches your values. From the surface level it may look perfect, but staying there for an extended period of time to get the feel of things is important to get a real sense if it is right for you! :)

No, I live with parents in northern Kazakhstan. It's snowing and dry. Literally opposite from what you want, but for me it's nice. But i would like to live in community (with some sort of private place). i work in school. But i would really like to experience community life in summer ✨

It is so weird to hear two people oceans away, talk about an almost identical dream I've had. I've always said if I ever win the lottery I would want to buy a biiiiig piece of land where we (my hubby and I) would invite our family and friends and favorite people to live together. We'd each have our own tiny homes and in the center of the piece of land would be a pool, a big fire pit and bbq, a big communal kitchen, dining area and lounge. We'd also have a big vegetal garden where we would grow all our own fruits and veggies as well as some animals for eggs and milk. We'd all come together at times and we'd all have our own little spaces to go back to. Each tiny house would be specifically designed for the people living there. I've always thought of this dream place as 'my village' so when I meet someone I really like or connect with, I tell them that I'd want them to live in my village (they usually give me an odd puzzled look and I then explain). Love your videos!

Did the exact same thing with my husband two years ago after getting married. Visualising what would be our dream life and how we could make both of our dreams work. We saved up for two years and bought a beautiful boat so that we could feel home and travel at the same time. We transitioned to remote working to make it work and learn how to sail. Everything is possible :)
The community you mentioned reminded me of Tuvalu and how the people there interact and live. I know Yes theory did a video about it and I'm sure you may have already heard about the island and the people, but I think it would be worth checking out. Its even tropical and sunny just like Hawaii but with that added element of family and communal spaces in nature!

The "living with community" thing really sounds a lot like living as a first generation migration in many diaspora communities! I certainly grew up around the kids of my parents' friends all the time because I definitely felt like I was raised by the community as opposed to my nuclear family

Tryon life community farm in Portland Oregon is right by my house and I take my kids there to hang out at events. They have two big community houses and tiny houses and I think one tree house. It’s a beautiful community and I think you’d find it inspiring. They are very open to visitors 😊

Love this content! My boyfriend and I have done lots of travel in the last few years and now live in Taiwan. We have been here for 3 years now, teaching English. My boyfriend works at a nature school where the children learn through nature like you were chatting about and I work at a montesorri school. It's given us great perspective on how we want to live our life and if we have children what we want for them. Long story short I feel like him and I have had this exact same conversation. It's sometimes hard to connect with people we've grown up with. Thanks so much for sharing!

I don’t live anywhere like that, unfortunately! Maybe someday. But there are a couple of CZcams/Social Media families that live on Maui that I watch and listen to. Jefferson Bethke and his wife and kids. And Carlos and Alexa PenaVega (LexLovesLos on CZcams). They don’t necessarily live in communities exactly like what y’all are talking about. But they have consistent community I see in their videos and all regularly. And there’s so much nature on Maui. I remember watching a video Jeff did where he was saying there’s the ocean, obviously, and green, but also mountains and snow! Which is my Dream! Lol

Hey Louis this was such an incredible vlog. Your life sounds like legit what I want. You should visit Tasmania the little Apple island in Australia it is such a nature paradise with mountains and coast close by. And believe it or not in December, so Aussie Christmas it was snowing in Tasmania.

She has land with her husband and they always have other people around for food and with her children being homeschooled. They also have friends living on their land

In Spain, everything is really community living. Not as exactly as you explain.
But for example, my parents and my best friends parents where like they own tribe and I grow out with their family as it was mine. They have three kids as my parents same age and her uncles are mine too. Their grandparents will get my to school and then she will come to eat with me...
Nowadays her and I don't speak as much, but our families are still family.
I think I didn't explain really great but in Spain is really normal to grown in community even though you don't live in the same place....

seems what you're describing are like *Eco Villages* we have one where i live, on Waiheke Island, NZ, which is the very thing of communal living/individual dwellings, pieces of lush land. google all around for info, inspiration, from these villages i reckon, you'd probably get great insight. with the pendulum swinging change on the world as we know it, there are more & more people wishing to buy land, often with like-minded peeps, for this very way of life, now. organic, sustainable, living, with others, but also with your own privacy, too. also, especially with places like Hawaii, look to the indigenous peeps, as they understand living in-tune with the land, perhaps more than any others. we are all the Kaitiaki of our lands (Maori word for caretakers). maybe look at creating your own village. everyone helps purchase a big block of land for the purpose of it. with Tiny Houses maybe. look at Bryce's *Living Big In A Tiny House* channel. full of great TN's for idea's, insight into the premise of simpler, more natural ways of living. also, everything we wish to manifest starts at the vision of it. the practicalities fall into place, the more we place our energies into attracting what we desire. if nothing else, feel it at your core, & send it out there (wishing upon candles isn't actually silly :-) especially a green, orange, or yellow one, for abundance & growth. blessings xx

They can be reasonably cheap but you need to buy land and have planning permission to use it as a permanent dwelling. It's almost impossible to live cheaply in the UK because there are way too many regulations.
