    I believe the problem is with gt7's race structure, in gt7 leagues we build races that we as the fans actually want ,longer distances, more tyre management, more fuel strategies ect ect, when this is done you will be surprised how fast the ferrari, Mercedes, dodge viper,or maclaren actually are, so many cars can be the meta, all it takes is a track and race setting that that car likes and you will see the genesis or nissan loose

      Ferrari isn't meta in Gr3, too undrivable. Mclaren is though

      Ferrari Gr.3 and Gr.4 are super easy to drive. Stable with great handling. It's cool that people all have their favorites, except for the "I only drive the current meta" players.

    the thing I was saying for a long time, but nobody listens; the slipstream area is affected by the wind - in the example at 1:50 the wind is completely perpendicular to the movement at 90 degrees, so even at that short distance the slipstream area would've been shifted between you and him so you both probably had an equal amount of slip at that moment

    The main issue is deciding for a BoP that works in Daily Races or Manufacturer series. I think longer races with fuel and tire management as a factor along with the option to tune alignment could help even the field. But these cars can’t be BoP for 20 minute races and 90 minute races at the same time.

    I almost exclusively use the 911. MR favors controller-users for sure. Much more forgiving as far as corner-exit oversteer

    100% agree. I made the horrible choice of choosing Honda for something different. Not only was it not competitive in one lap speed, the tyre wear was even worse than the Ferrari - both my right side tyres were completely gone

    Among the many combinations of cars, tire compounds, and courses, I think it's a very difficult task to adjust BoP in a well-balanced manner. However, now they can use GT Sophie. By utilizing AI, they might be able to adjust the BoP more efficiently.

    I'm a A rated driver who chose Ferrari. After the second race i realized I may have made a mistake. Tire wear on that car was outrageous.

      Are you on controller? I race ferrari as well, and tire life was terrible on controller. Since switching to a wheel I manage it really well with no degradation to speed. I still had tire life left at the end of this race.

    The best way to fix BoP is to allow us to tune after they handicap the cars, GT doesn't really understand racing it seems

    The easiest fix for PD to bring the MR’s back into the fold for GTWS, is to run lower tire multipliers.
    OR…
    In high tire multiplier races, make for necessary compound requirements.
    OR…
    Bring the medium and soft tire performance closer together.
    From my low A+ perspective, and a perpetual Ferrari fanboy. I’m only at a big disadvantage in low tire multipliers or short races that mandate multiple compounds. MR cars tire wear only becomes an issue once rear tire wear falls below 50%, as their tail-happiness characteristics become more pronounced and compounded. In races that require multiple compounds, you just need to be creative with strategy.
    What’s interesting is that the Ferrari’s and McLaren’s BOP setup is almost exactly the same, except the Ferrari is MUCH WORSE in handling.
    If they wanted to fix most MR car’s handling and BOP, all PD would have to do is add downforce (emphasis on the rear), unlock the differential’s a bit, and give them a power buff.
    I’m ok with MR’s having less than stellar tire wear as long as they have some other redeeming characteristics to even them out; such as top speed and braking ability. But as it stands right now, they have no redeeming characteristics.
    Hell, I’m sure most drivers would be willing to sacrifice even more top speed if that meant that MR cars wouldn’t eat tires alive. I know I would

    Even in Gr4 for the daily race B, 570 s is so much slower in a straight line than the Mazda. Never experienced something similar in GT Sport.

    I would really like to fix the BoP to have variety of options every week, see different cars instead of having one meta... it is almost becoming one manufacturer race!

    I've been saying it that the BOP is not right. There should be a way to cut off the BOP if you want to, especially in regular races. Rig your car like you want to an race as good as you can. If your faster than me so be it. When I have a cat and a race With BOP it brings me from 529 hp to 310 hp but all the cars are supposed to be 310 hp, well how can 10 cars pass me like I'm sitting still. It's like my case was the only one affected. At the end of the race a car can win by 15 seconds and I use that car and the same thing happens to me, they pass me like I'm sitting still.ive tried it every way possible.

    Im a B-A Driver (on my main account) and I drove for Ford during Ex. Manufactures Season and used the Ford GT ‘18 (Not LM). I actually had great success at Nürburgring winning on my second attempt. I noticed that to with the Genesis at Bathurst (Mount Panorama). It was a little OP on the straight line before up hill before. I had great corner but it looks like the way it was setup was over the top.

    Agree. The Ford Mustang Gr 3 hasn’t been competitive in…ever. Next to no-one uses it unless they’re trying a “beat the meta car” challenge.

    as someone who uses the ferrari gr3/gr4 cars exclusively this hurts especially more. and it doesn't seem like PD will update the cars soon

    Agree, weight transfer and brutal tyre wear holds MR cars back from competition. Which is why I'm still shocked Lamborghini made it into manus. They need to tweak the setups to make them more stable/viable.

    Cool video. I also drove for ferrari, and had the feeling i made a big mistake here. I admit i am a beginner and this was my first participation. But i thiught bop is to balance the cars for fair competition and pd is making adjustments to mix up the meta....? But looks like they don't.

    We had some of the best races in the last weeks, but unfortunately the BoP ruined the joy .. in Gr3 category there are only 4 or 5 options & the others are useless!

    drove lot of dragon trail(daily b), had some fun in GTR, but the mazda, in straight line, even if i had a way better exit in his slip and they had no slip, after 100 200 meters they just take off on the straight.

    That Happened To Me In The Watkins Glen Race Lap 12, I Was In 3rd When The Rear Right Tire Was Full Red. And I Drive With The Controller Sticks, So If This Happened Also With A World Tour Who Drives With Wheel, I Don't Know What To Think About The BOP. I Would Like To Think Maybe This Exhibition Series Is For Seeing & Adjust A Better BOP or Tire Wear Model Having In Mind The "Real" Series

    When I look
    At my race. It was shocking how some people
    Burn tiers. I think u hafe too adjust ur car so it many not the fastest on track but save tiers so it up to u how u whant it. Fast but burn tier or save tier and put the lap after lap in the same speed

    Well as a GT7 Dodge Viper user in sport mode I don't see it being worse but just not op to where I would bored as meta has always been to me. I guess it depends how you want to race and enjoy sport mode. There could be a definite bop update if they could.

    Bop is still the same now, real bop settings are set per race as the track you're driving, we can't have one bop fits all. Your driving us different than the next driver, and that the point of bop. As it is it won't slow faster drivers.

    I wonder what would you say about Lancer gr3... Choosing Mitsubishi means youre offpace 2s at almost every track, it is sad

    They can't fix the BoP by adjusting power and weight only, at least not for most tracks. Every car would need a low, mid, and high speed setup ( suspension, aero ) if they want to do that.
    I personally am going to main BMW from now on, it's good on some of my favorite combos on top of being one of the best looking car. The only way I wouldn't use it is if it gets a -2% HP or -1% HP with a weight increase.

    Hi digit, i dont know what problem Have the gtr in this race with tyre management,in the race i had serious difficulties saving tire compared to the other races,i saw the First race raplay and i see the mehdi and kylian tyre and its Crazy the lexus and brz management (im theghostbaby)

    Less use for MR cars we need new MR cars tbh like Ferrari it hasn't have a new gr3 car yet, the McLaren hasn't have a gr3 yet, and the Porsche highly doubt they would put the 992 GT3R in the game because it's a RR which is unstable

    Bop is orrible but they still need their partnership cars at the world tours, you know, they need to do the bop for that cars…

      🫡🫡 Actually here at gardens you can compete with the aston. With that mistake I lost P3 and 401 points.
      In the twisty tracks aston is competitive.

    Why you question the bop, when it's more about tire model? Game is a joke in this area. All MR cars you cannot drive when rears have only ~25% of the tire left. While at the same time you can drive fr cars literally on rims without any significant time loss
