, it is still bit cloudy but clear. I did "Rotten Egg Pilsner" (Brewferm Czech Lager yeast 6g *3, Saaz, pilsner malt + 3x15min. decoction, 67C main mash, ferment +12 C, 15psi. 36litter), after 2 weeks it has allready nice taste BUT lotsa Rotten Eggs. I felt that this less clean yeast did better that those super clean(no sulfite) yeasts.... 4more weeks to see it!!! Decoction part on your video was nice to see - it is allways bit messy, 🤭

I’m a west coast ipa kinda guy but I’ve been on a Czech pils kick lately, love me some Saaz !! I don’t do a decoction mash I just add melodian malt. Definitely a beautiful beer you brewed

Awesome Job man! Last time I did a bohemian pils, I wanted to do my ancestors proud by doing a quadruple step decoction. Turned out great. It was a punishing brew day, but the Carmel from cooked sugars and the lacing of the bubbles on the glass were worth the extra effort.

I love doing decoction mash, just like you said, it really worth the effort, thanks for watching, cheers

Nice one Fernando! I've been making Pils with Weyermann Floor Malted Bohemian Pilsner for a couple batches now and I agree with your assessment. It provides a great head retention. I believe this is because of the protein content. It's a superior pilsner grain and I will continue to seek it out. All the best with your quest for the Urquell ;)

This was hard to understand. Some people have 2 liquid heaters plus a boiler.

It's really not that complicated. You can always pull out and heat/boil your decocts in the stove pot in your kitchen.

I tried to do the easiest possible. If you have some understanding about how beer is brew, it shouldn't be that hard if you don't have much experience. I would recommend starting with a single infusion, cheers, and remember there are no stupid questions.

Could you complete your mash of all the grain first then do the decoctions and go straight to boil?
