This is absolutely incredible!! The entire project was mind-blowing, but this arrangement... wow. I don’t even know how y'all did it, it sounds so natural even with the mix of old and new audio!! Amazing stuff, truly.
For the female singers in the workers' choir, who did you bring in? Those harmonies on the second part were just popping off! The entire track was popping off as a whole! I know I mentioned this multiple times, but this is easily one of the best projects you cooked up! Bar none!
(Copied on 7/11/24 from my comment on a video on 3/17/24) I've heard this song hundreds of times, in fact, it's one of my favorite VT songs. But looking at it now, it's actually really deep storytelling wise. In 2 minutes, we know who our main characters are, that they work in a chocolate factory, what it's like, and that they want their parents to save them one day. What some movies cover in narration or maybe 15-30 minutes of a feature film, this song does in a couple minutes. It really shows how good of a writer that Phil Vischer was.

I love how it sounds like the establishing first song of the musical
It sounds like it came straight from a Broadway production
this one sounds better then the og ngl
Honestly I have to agree
yeah I’m getting Cuphead big band energy from this version
1:32 1:42 Especially that choir.

It's good, but I feel like the original one really set the mood better. Even with the same lyrics, the music just really changes the tone.
this song is as addicting as nezzer’s chocolate bunnies
update: i can’t stop. the drum breakdown fills my soul with so much joy
One of the best scenes in Veggietales history
Adding "VeggieTales" to that sentence was not necessary. LOL. :)
Sounds like a 30’s, 40’s and 50’s big band music style, Great job!
This needs to be on Spotify!
Agreed
2:12 Scooter: Let's take it home, lads!
