    Please change your mic, voice is not clear. In two cases your teaching was not matching to the answers. First about the thumb rule for pipe support span calculation which I guess is not correct ( I might be wrong here but was not convinced from your class) and second the percentage of allowable span consideration in 3 different conditions. In 1st and third conditions it was contradicting with each other.

      Its changed. Now even we have change the audio person now you can check our latest videos.
      Its thumb rule which is written in many company's standard practice. This video for understanding there might be some typo error but its all about fundamentals. I hope you understand. Thank you for watching and critical comment.

      @@PipingMantra I understood the thumb rule and it is the best practice to do the piping at first without having enough information. But just for my knowledge asking you that, if a pipe size is 4 inch then as per rule span would be 10 + 4" = 14" span distance. This is what I understood and I think this is wrong. Bcoz 6 meter distance which I know would be the span between two pipe supports. Please help me to understand this.

      @PipingMantra  Před 3 lety

      First of all that is 10 +(size of pipe in inch) is give span in feet. For your case 10+4" is equals to 14 feet. If you see the attached chart from ASMEB31.1 table it also give same value in feet. in the thumb rule it self it is mentioned that span is in feet. Might be missed because of bad sound i guess.

      6m is an avg span widely used since we have to place rack structure uniformly.
