POV- It's your brother's wedding, but you and your brother's best friend, both were busy in the preparation. Finally , you got a little time for yourself to get ready. Looking at your reflection in the mirror you smiled broadly. The black colour lengha suited you very well. You desended the staircases only to find your brother's best friend talking to his friends. He too was wearing a black kurta. You slightly wrinkled your nose thinking why would he even look at you. Ignoring him , you too mingled with your friends. You were walking in the open lawn busy in your thoughts, but suddenly you bumped in a rock hard chest, "what the......" The black kurta guy couldn't complete his sentence as he was smitten by your looks. You raised you head from his chest to look at his reaction. You couldn't help but chuckled at his expression. His eyes opened wide , his mouth half opened. A glint of mischief flashed in your eyes as you raised yourself a little and shut his mouth by your index finger and then putting your hands on his shoulder you whispered in his left ear " muh band kr lo janaab warna machchar chala jayega." Saying so you were about to run but you couldn't due to a tug on your left wrist. He inched closer and hugged you from behind. His warm breaths fanned your neck giving you a tinkling sensation. He held you secured as if you are the most precious thing in the world. It's been an entire year since you accepted what you feel for your brother's best friend, but you never had the courage to express this. Your chain of thoughts broke as he leaned a little and put his chin on your shoulder and whispered in his husky baritone " ye to jalwe Hain husn-e-yaar ke , ab hum zara sa kho gye to isme hamari khata kya." Hearing his words you turned yourself to face him " sirf baaten banani hi aati hai aapko." You spoke while wrinkling your nose. He pulled you more closer and tapped your nose with his index finger and said " sirf baaten banani nhi aati , or bhi talent hai mujhme , pr wo aaj nhi bataunga, tab bataunga jab aise hi kisi khoobsurat se mandap me vyah ke tumhe apne sath le jaunga." She says "mujhe nahi pata, i tried to look my bes-" he cuts her sentance"kiske liye??" She says "cant tell you!" She starts going and then he grabs her wrist and says "bhot jhut bolti hai aap madam, abh agar apka ho gya ho toh sahi sahi btaye" she says "samajh jao bas" and then he starts laughing, then he pulls her on the wall, and abh baki puri audience samajh jaye🙈✨
