The best Channel on planet earth - - the shots of the rock and camp at the end make me inspired - thank you
"We traveled 1200kms to get to the start of the trip"
If that isn't the most WA thing, idk what is.
Middle of America here, Indianapolis Indiana tuning in. Great content, really showing the beauty of Australia, and its people. I also like how you all cleaned up in the Gold Fields series. Keep up the great work. Cheers Mate
Wayne is low-key a weapon! He knows his vehicle and how to drive it like an absolute champion!
You all do it's incredible how your rigs are just extensions of you all.
But Wayne seems to be the more quiet silent achiever but he works his vehicle like an absolute king!!!
Love the work Ronnie and team!
You are living the life Ronny! Greatly appreciate the videos so we can live vicariously through you.
That reflection off the water to the cliff and the night sky tells it all, amazing thanks Ronny.
I was not ready for the jerry can. My god, Wayne is a dirty genius.
Sunday Mornings with Ronny.... YESSSSSS
Its more like Saturday Evening but yeah...still rocks ;)
Us Aussie's aren't in America ol mate, its been Sunday morning for 11 hours now ;)
Great video. That may be the nicest camp site I've ever seen.
Bro, have had the pleasure of traveling round Australia with my Family. Your videos are "epic" and make me want to do it all over again. Beautiful work brother you should be proud of what your achieving and loving the life you live. That night footage was stunning. Keep doing what your doing👍🏼
+King Konstruct thanks mate will do 👍
And yet again i find myself sitting here in Germany dreaming of going 4wd-ing in Australia watching one of your videos. Keep it up, awesome stuff!
I am 45 just bought my first 4x4 (unregistered prado). Fixing it up. I have just added this camping site to my bucket list. I can not wait to hit the tracks. A effing great video. Cant wait for episode 2. Love your work Ronny
Grew up in Newman, awesome waterholes around the place. Three pools, stuarts pool, eagle falls, plus heaps more.
Running waters is a beautiful place out on the Skull Springs road.
PS, drove to Kalgans pool in a mini moke once. What a day that was!
Hi Ronny and gang, great spot there. The water you came across on the road in, is ground water pumped from a near by Iron ore mine. Otherwise most of the water in the pool is seasonal. On your way out to Mt Meharry you would have crossed at least one of the tributaries that feed this area. Unfortunately mining had changed much of the area but at least it is fun accessing it. Can't wait to see more. As always very enjoyable. We love this area you have visited, glad you got to spend a bit of time there. Aj & Louise WA.
Great video Ronny. Love Sunday nights watching your series. 👍👍👍
Best thing about the Pilbara is that most tourists pass straight through. Just the way we like it up here.
really enjoy this-- some humor --some cooking--some amazing truck tech--and best of all the night sky so many stars thankyou for you work and share .
Love the time lapse and drone work.
Awesome with the drone footage, can't wait for the others, have fun guys
Not a bad effort Ronnie and crew, got to say your video productions just keep getting betterer and betterer def worth pateron donating.
What an epic ending! One of the main reasons I subbed to this channel long ago was because of how you show the scenery (at night or day) with the thought-provoking music accompanying it. Well done and thank you!
Ronny's time lapse's are amazing. I don't know how he does it. So crisp and clean. Wish there was more of it in the vids.
Gopro/or other time lapse and one or two egg timers. Dead easy.
I'll be heading up to Karijini and Exmouth in my Fortuner Ronny! Cannot wait !!! What a beautiful part of the world we live in, good work on the footage mate, thanks again mate! Can't wait to see more 👍🏽👍🏽
Up, awake and waiting! Awesome!
The effort that goes into these trips, the amount of setting up the camera, then driving past it, then going back for it, it's a huge task that never gets shown on camera. Thanks Ronny, thanks to all your crew. Ps: ya can't be blamed for arriving late to camp!!
They know who to blame :p
+4west7 hahaha I'm going to use this as an excuse from now on 👍
Another good series coming up Ronnie by the look of it . Given us some places to check out ourselves . Good work mate .
Wow wow wow! I never thought I'd fall in love with watching 4x4 videos. Your new camera angles and production quality is getting so good too. If it weren't for selfie cams and camera equipment casting shadows in the scene, I honestly would not be able to tell this apart from something made by a TV network. Not nitpicking, just saying it's that great! I've watch every video not just once either. I've watched some several times. Don't stop doing what you're doing, ever.
Don't encourage him to spend more time filiming - we'll never get to camp!
hits got pretty lighting ,when is he going to get a lady in the truck for company
The big lights are a necessity when travelling with Ronny. You can't smell him after 3 days in the bush - no ladies going there!
I'm really longing for an adventure. I really want to travel and get out of this bubble of home. Maybe I should stop making up excuses and just try to make my current truck into something more. Overlanding is an absolute dream of mine.
Just do it! You wont regret it I promise you.
falcidi well I guess I'll try and get my truck more ready for travel then. Getting registered soon so after that I'll know where it's at
Zach,
I've been there brother and I can tell you the hardest part of overlanding or remote travel is walking out your front door. Finding the time, adjusting priorities, and fighting the negativity that you should be doing something more important and useful than just "driving around in the boonies." Building your rig is the easy part because all that takes is money and time in your garage or driveway.
In fact, if you already have a 4WD truck, about all you need is a good set of AT tires, a recovery rope or strap, and a decent cooler. With just those things, you can get out and enjoy a lot of places and have great adventures, especially if you have another vehicle with you.
Don't let the idea that you need a highly modified rig like one of these guys or what you see in the magazines to go overlanding. That's just another reason not to go. In fact, the more you go, the more you'll be able to decide what you REALLY need and not spend money needlessly or excessively. Most of the mods that folks do are for convenience rather than capability.
The bottom line is GET OUT THERE. NOW. WITH WHAT YOU HAVE. Then decide what additions or mods that you need. Ask any of these guys with all the gear and all the mods if they would rather have an epic trip or another mod. You can have the trip RIGHT NOW.
Hope to see you outside soon......
vettepilot427 very true. I gotta adventure out of CT too. This place is awful and nowhere adventurous enough. I gotta get up north.
Well said mate. Give your 4wd a good service before you go and make sure you have some spares (keep one of each of your old hoses and belts and throw them in a box in your car), a good set of tyres, basic recovery gear (strap, shackles and a shovel), something basic to sleep in and an ice box. After that, spend your money on filling the tank and getting out there!
Bit of a spoiler, but we met a bloke out there (where we met him was the most remote spot we got to in the trip) driving a ~40 year old cruiser with a single battery, no fridge and a very basic camping setup. He was there for a few weeks with his wife and dog and was looking at the same view we were. Sure he took longer to get out there and didn't have as many cold beers or fresh steaks like us, but he was looking at the same view we were and has spent a fraction of what we had.
Feels like the quality stepped up a notch. Can't wait for the next one. Still my favorite channel!
Fantastic. And a nice long series. One of the channels I look forward to most, for new vids.
awesome video mate, looking forward to watching the rest
Ronny wicked video mate .love old mates alcoholic jerry
You excel with the beauty shots Ronnie.

used to live to live up there in Tom Price... beautiful part of the country. one day ill go back
Ronny mate, wow, superstar. That was truly epic. The Jerry Can just cracked me up. He needs to patent that asap, for sure it will be a gold winner. Looking forward to the next part. Cheers mate. ATB Moose.
LOL The Trucker at 7:53 takes the cake with his ARB Intensity SetUp
Wonderful! The Pilbara is my favourite place in W.A. We have been lucky enough to spend many months exploring it. Pity you had time limits and didn't get to explore areas closer to the coast but it still looks like it was a great trip. Looking forward to the next episode.
+Western Australia Now and Then yep time is a factor but then it leaves stuff to see next time 👍 the Pilbara is huge!
and the time after that etc. :) We have been travelling the state for what feels like forever but there is just so much still to see. One lifetime just isn't long enough.
Love all your videos! Cheers!!
From the States... Cant help but feel some envy for the conditions you have available Down Under!!! Truck Safe!!! :)
Killer reveal at the end. Your film language is maturing. Awesome.
I'm new to over landing and I've learned a crazy amount off this channel. Thanks much and great vids.
Wow! What an incredible camp site. I'll eagerly be waiting for episode 2.
@18:55 Those night sky shots are amazing...great end to a great video, thanks for sharing!
Hey man I lived in Newman for 3 years, awesome place. Next time your there make sure you hit up Eagle Rock Falls, Eagle Rock Pool, 3 Pools and Weeli Wolli. Kalgan Pool is cool, made it there with my wife's Forester though - bloody Toyota driver's 🤣🤣 great vid man can't wait for the rest of em.
Looks like an epic trip already, can't wait for the next part. Love the starscapes at the end.
Thanks Ronny, looking forward to the rest of the series! Love your work.
Ronny your the best mate ......Trinidad and Tobago viewer
Great work Ronny. Love your content. You have inspired me and taught be so much. Can't thank you enough
Amazing video!! Thank you so much. I really enjoyed it. Better than tv.
Great job on the new way of editing your shots together Ronny! I love this new style and it makes watching your videos the perfect companion to just kicking back, relaxing, and taking in the amazing views. Keep it up! :)
Some pretty top notch shots in this one Ronny!
Keep up the great videos Ronny.
I love this so much
The funny thing about the decoy Jerry Can.
Is the "locals" would flog it to sniff the petrol.
Keeping top shelf spirits inside it, is like giving them a "Kinder Surprise"
Hugh Jazz you can't get high sniffing diesel, there's too much oil in it. Anyone from the ghetto knows that. Not just black fullas haha
The outro was epic!
Nice surprise with the jerry can.
Good one brother you make me miss that pool already
Last time i follow the creek to kalgans pool water was about my bonnet and start to reaching windscreen.
Great video! I love the views. You live in a beautiful country. Looking forward to part two.
Your videos are utterly amazing and verry enjoyable to watch. Every one of your shots are so smooth.
Some great footage and music as usual especially towards the end. Love the time lapse stuff!
Nice video! Love the jerry can
looks like it was a lot of fun Ronny and crew, keep up the great work guys
Once again Ronny a very well made video.
Awesome show ronny I look forward to the next. From Houston Texas
As usual cracking videos looking forward to creating our own memories out there. keep em coming ronny great mini series!
Once Again Ronny! AMAZING! loving it and can not wait for the rest of the videos
I did a Pilbara trip a couple years ago in the trusty old troopy... how's the corrugations going into kalgan pool 😒 was a pretty savage run with leaf springs in each corner haha seeing this makes me want to head back up and see more of what the Pilbara has to offer 👌 such a gorgeous place ... pun intended
Awesome!
Moving to Pilbara, have to rewatch this series 👌🏼
Hey there ronny love your work. Seems you're inspiring a lot of people to get out more which is great. Would like to see a video where you overview all you best and favourite trips and show maps of places you have been to make it easier for us who dont know many great places in WA so we can get out there ourselves!
Cheers Ronny, was waiting for this adventure for ages!! Love the video
Love your videos!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! new series and 6 PARTS!!!! :D ...i just hope that this one will be more in action, and not a Vlog style !
Bloody beautiful mate!!! Keep up the great work!!
Nice work Ronny and the boys. Hahaha just a small by the by .... that was a bull at 8:47 (not a cow) but that would be all semantics if you ploughed into it LOL. Sigh ... now do we wait till next Sunday or will it be Friday for the next instalment. Either way, can't wait. Thanks again fellas.
I'd love to see a trip with less modified vehicles Ronny. This is awesome and don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to your next episode, but most of us don't own that kind of vehicles and I think it would be great to see a trip with less modified ones to show what can be done with just some good tires, recovery boards and a couple of mates! keep up the good work mate!
You suggest his strips his vehicle back to stock for a video for you or he buys another stock vehicle?
Harrys 80 series has minimal mods. If you wanna test out a stock vehicle take yours out and see how far it gets lol
Great video. I love the slow long high quality shots! So different to modern editing.
I did multiple trips a week up the great northern and coastal highway for 4 years I'm my kenworth t908 had a few close calls but never hit a cow and had really really bad headlights and spotties
You must invest many hours in researching & planning the logistics of these types of trips. And we just sit back and watch it all.
Loving the Jerry can!!!! I'm gonna try and make one this weekend....!🤣
Been waiting for this !!! Cheers Ronny !!
18:56 what an awesome shot m8
Darn! I miss Australia!
the night time time lapses are so beautiful
Good Stuff Ronny
Wayne's jerry can is sweet haha.
Every now and then you witness genius on you tube THAT JERRY CAN was it👍🍷😁
I like the way you are filming. Very professional!!! You should get a contract with a TV Channel.
Love the story but would also love some more driving footage.
Stunning visuals and editing as always, best 4x4 channel on the net-and solely WA! Got some new camera gear Ronny? I know its been asked b4 and you would have done this if you'd wanted Im sure but we would love a video solely on your camera gear. You could take a shot eg 19:15 on this video and then show us the gear and settings used to do it. Also at 20:10 flying over that small cliff looks like there was one of those iron statue figures on the edge. See a few of those?
Dude... that ending shot and music...
2:13 "You know what happens when the sun goes down..."
Yeah, Ronny makes camp lol.
Great thumbnail pic!
That happened to me driving up the freeway to Mullaloo and the tyre bloke said it was the sun. That it dries the tyres out so much that sometimes it does that, thank God it was my rear tyre as well. A front tyre blowing at 110ks would be disastrous.
Yeah tell me about it mate, it was a big surprise!
Yes I can imagine goes off like a bomb doesn't it. Can cause a fair bit of damage as well to the car's bodywork. I thought I drove over a land mine.
This happened a few months ago to my partner at 110km on brand hwy. Luckily he was ok, although the 105 was a write off. Not happy with those BFG muddies. 3 out of 5 have de-laminated :/
i sure do know what happens when the sun goes down you struggle to find camp and have to set up in the dark again haha
+Timothy Jonker haha you know the drill 👌
cool trip
Should have popped into Telfer Ronny and had a beer with me haha :)
Ronny, the sun sets at 6:30pm down there? In Canada, the sun sets pretty late (11pm) in the summer time months, all 3 of them that is...June, July & August.
Now I have a strange craving for chips and dip...damn it!
That jerrycan was the best.
We are a lot closer to the equator so the days are much shorter here - sunrise around 5.30, sunset around 6.15. We were also in our winter (it's a semi-tropical climate in the Pilbara so it's not a true winter, it is just cooler and stops raining).
Hey Ronny and co. Another amazing episode, the photography quality has gone up phenomenally, do you orchestrate all of it or is it a collective effort, the aerial night footage I found very interesting with audio, how did you achieve that?
Hi Ronny, another great video mate, well done. Can I make a suggestion? When you show destinations on maps, zoom out so we can see where you go with regards to the State. You showed us where you went on the trip in this vid, but if you don't know where that is in the state you could be down south up north, 5 minutes from home etc. If you zoom out it gives a much better perspective.
I'm really looking forward to the rest of the vids, great stuff
And that drawer fridge, where did you get that? Any info?
From a patreon supporter.
+10 G good point with the map will keep that one in mind next time I film.
The draw fridge is an engel SW30
