Great reaction to John Lennon's provocative song "God". I bought this album in 1971 and it remains Lennon's best solo work and his most personal recording. Also the vocal by John in this song is close to perfection,IMHO.
Other vocals are highlights due to the Primal Scream therapy John was undergoing @ this time. The entire album is classic w just John, Ringo + Klaus Vrooman & Phil Spector as producer.

John was going through Primal Scream therapy which encourages to face and let anger and pain out. It was how he felt at the time, but he was always changing his mind and did not feel the same way later on. Just because it's on a record, some listeners think that's what he's about permanently. They fail to recognize; John went through phases and changes more than the average person. With that said, "God" is an excellent and powerful song!
I notice he always talks about these things in relation to himself. He’s definitely not telling others what to think.

Elton John, who was godfather to John's second son Sean, wrote an amazing song called 'Empty Garden' as a tribute to John after his passing.
He was indeed a courageous, if deeply flawed man.
