I have a similar effect on one of my frames. I dripped and splashed multiple colours of alcohol ink over the frame and used a large brush to ‘move’ the colours together. Worked very well for me. Love your work though
This is some beautiful work, really want to give this a try. Haven't seen this anywhere else, thanks Ali. Big love to Fat Creations, such an underrated channel! Please keep the content coming. ❤
awesome job guys I saw one you did when I dropped in my giant which you painted British Racing Green for me. The detail / time you put in is incredible and need load of patience 😂 Keep up the amazing work Dan 😊
I wanted to ask the same thing and it can only be done with alcohol paint or it could be done with another paint such as water-based metallic airbrush paint.
Just leave it to dry then heavy clear coat, flat with 600 and then do the logos and another clear. I've not experimented with other materials but I should think water based would work in a similar way, though I guess alcohol evaporates/drys quicker then water?
Thank you for the informative video. Beautiful paintjob. However: This video suffers of the disease of many youtube videos: superfluous and distracting background music. It's tiring attending to the narration over the background music, masking the topic of the video and mostly adding nothing to the content. Narration or music is fine but one on top of the other is annoying.
The time and effort you and Ali put into these frames is amazing. The results are outstanding 👏👏 Great video.
Thank you 🥰
Absolutely LOVE your videos and that paint job, thanks for uploading! Please upload more content 😊

That is absolutely gorgeous! Do you prep the alcohol paint before clearcoat? Or just let the paint dry then apply clearcoat? Stunning...

Looks amazing Becks
W.O.W. impressive stuff, so priddy.
Thank you :)
incredible
Paint job looks amazing, how long did this process take?
I would say I spent around 3 days doing the ink. Then if you add on prep time, the lacquer stages, stenciling and polishing prob about 50 hours😳
@@fatcreationscustompaint Wishing I was living back in he UK as I would like to change the colour scheme on my bike
Beautiful paint job, do you have any photos of the complete build?
Amazing.... Have you considered or tried with a airbrush instead of puffer. might be easier on the hand.
I did a bit with the airbrush but wierdly found the puffer a bit better for the effect I was doing.
The effect is stunning. What is the blending alcohol, isopropyl alcohol neat?
Do you just clear over then then? The alcohol ink doesnt affect that or do you use a special clear?
Yes just the same as we use for paint. Though we do apply the first coat very lightly/ dryer
@@fatcreationscustompaint thanks for the response.
Hey! no new videos for a long time, where did you disappear to??
Incredibly busy, we are hoping to get more out there now. Thanks for watching 🥰
