keep that 50$ jig though buddy, it has the guide holes for other holes that are normally drilled in 80%ers
but not always.

James Boaz you are right. I didn’t even notice. That $50 jig is well worth the money. Why didn’t this guy spend $250 on a gen 2 easy jig? It’s got pretty shiny colors and bullshit bells and whistles to mark up the price. I know the video is too old and gen2 wasn’t out yet but you get my point

Spends $170 on a jig, but buys a $50 polymer lower. it's a damn nice looking jig but you can get an aluminum lower for the same price as the poly one. nice video, very informative.

If you have a strong enough drill press or a mill I don't see why you couldn't do an aluminum lower with this jig.

80% Lowers sells a hell of a lot better jig for $100. more, no measurements.
