Not till I finish my current build : ) In England our equivalent of Demolition Derby is indoor "banger racing" at 1:12 scale. The cars are purpose-designed and made in England and the bodies are usually bought from an English company which makes bodies of cars from the 1930s through to the 90s, in 2mm ABS. There´s a guy on CZcams called MrE who´s printing rubber tyres so he can run his banger on asphalt; I´m stretching a "banger" body to fit on a Carisma chassis. I´ll definitely try your technique on my next rat rod build, though - and credit you for sharing the idea.
No problem, I want to share as much RC knowledge as possible . I've seen the "Banger" racing , I thought they had it in Australia as well but I might be mistaken . The videos I've seen show the cars with a 2 step servo operated speed control . very old school .
Billy C. LeWorth -- Ah ok. understand - I love Hard Rock music and use it a lot in my videos - I always switch between introductions and then as loud as the music goes in. HardRock has to be heard aloud! 😃: -)
Awesome work, thanks for posting.
Thanx , I'm actually building some more tonight
Nice technique Billy, enjoyed the vid!
Thanx , you're the guy that got me going in the You Tube RC scene .
Thumbs up for innovative thinking and for sharing such a good idea : )
Thanx ,I always want something that I can't find so it's easier to just build my own sometimes
I´ve even looked at ECX Barrages and thought "those rims would be great for a rat rod build" but never thought of the next step.
Are you going try building some ?

The sound is a horror - but since I have you subscribed and appreciate your work, I still have the thumbs up!
Metal music isn't for everyone but I like it . I had it turned low if that's any consolation.
