@BenAndCheese They don't "HAVE" to be, that's the point. They choose to be recognized as such because they believe strongly in their faith and would like to share it with others through their music. This is why Christian metal/metalcore/deathcore bands are so amazing. And for the record, August Burns Red do consider themselves a Christian band.
Teramaze, Sacred Warrior (look up Waiting for Darkness), Tourniquet, Antithesis, Affector, Jacob's Dream, Letter 7.... tons of old school bands like Bloodgood.

Hey budy I know this is a year later but I would recommend that you read a book by David Barton called Original Intent. A great read on what the founding fathers intended in terms of religious liberty in this Nation.
I gotta say... I'm not Christian (my beliefs are... complicated. I'll leave it at that.), but I respect the message of standing up for righteousness, regardless of whether it is in the name of God, The Gods, or humanity. Many of us need to stop hiding behind this bickering between ideologies and f*cking LIVE and embrace freedom. I'm Pagan, but I respect Christianity and its God. I respect Atheists as long as they respect the rest of us. tl;dr - Not Christian, but love the band. :)
