100% offside
On.... it's delayed offsides and player tags up before teammate touches in the zone
Maybe go read the rule book?
@@greysongladney4403 relax lol
@@greysongladney4403take a look dipshit the puck is on his stick, never-mind the rule book get some glasses
Reminds me of Cale Makar vs Edmonton WCF
I’m sens fan and that play was offside, but they were flat no matter the outcome of that challenge they had no chance tonight
I thought review was supposed to make sure bad calls didn’t stand, not double down on them inexcusably
It’s Florida they get away with calls most other teams don’t, just look at their Cup run, they beat teams just by playing dirty and getting away with it until they met Vegas where refs wouldn’t give them the benefit then lol.
@@lAmCanad1anquit whinging it was a good call, you're just mad it didn't go your way
Maybe read the rule book
@@greysongladney4403 Ottawa aint my team bud. Just not a blind idiot who cant tell when a team is clearly getting the calls.
@@lAmCanad1an getting the calls? it was onside though. it became delayed offside, but he didn't touch the puck again until his teammate tagged up, thus being onside.
also the call on the ice was it was onside, and you need pretty clear cut obvious without a doubt evidence to overturn what was called on the ice
but who are we kidding. you won't and can't admit you're wrong on this, not now. you've convinced yourself that your opinion on it is correct and everyone else (including the professional experts on the matter) are wrong.
are you going to double down inexcusably?
@@junk3996 "Delayed offside" while touching the puck is a wild misinterpretation of the rules.
He clearly touched the puck over the blue line
No... on the blue line and doesn't touch the puck until his teammate tags up
@greysongladney4403 slow the speed down. hes carrying the puck Let's go just as he crosses the line. The player has not tagged up yet.
no, he pushed it in and didn't touch it until the other player cleared the zone...
The blue line doesn't count until it breaks the attacking zone plane...
Then once in the zone the blue line then becomes part of the zone and those rules flip to the other side of the blue line when talking about holding the line....
Literally just go read about delayed offsides and blue line rules
This isn't new kiddo
@@greysongladney4403 That's correct: he pushed it in.
@greysongladney4403 played hockey for 35 years I no the the rules.
I can't believe some people believe it's onside. He had possession and control of the puck entering the zone with another teammate in the zone. Literally the definition
Couch refs haha it was offside the puck is clearly on the tape of his stick. These idiots need a reality check
This is going to spiral out of control unless very fast. As an Ottawa fan it breaks my heart.
Clearly offsides but whatever I'll take it gladly
Onside... delayed offside call.... tags up before teammate touches within the zone
The blue line is not the zone until possession is taken inside the zone
he had puck possession. Thats how he got the puck inside the zone. 200% offside@@greysongladney4403
This is like English football VAR.
It sure looked like he touched it before the guy tagged up, but none of the angles really show it well so 🤷♂️
First one shows it clearly enough I'd say. I'm not a fan of either team and that just seems obvious
Thats Bettman hockey folks😂😂
Am I the only that noticed how dope that beat was during the review. Someone please tell me what that beat was
The pause music from goldeneye 007 n64
what is happening
THIS LITERALLY HAPPENS EVERY YEAR AND FANS STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND THE TAG UP RULE.....jeeeesus
It was offside. Dude didn’t tag up until the puck was brought back in.
@@stinkfinger630 The only way the tag-up rule can apply here is if they're going to argue the puck wasn't physically in-contact with the stick when the offending player skates onside, as you can see him lift his stick up and let the puck coast in before the "tag-up" would be applied.
yes this is why it was considered "good". that's all they have to do is lift their stick and not have it in contact with the puck. there's been many times this has happened since the rule change in 2017@@longliverocknroll5
@@longliverocknroll5 but he was literally handling the puck - it’s on his stick! Is there or is there not an offside rule?
@@stinkfinger630 It's not technically touching his stick when the tag up happens. Watch in slow-mo. Not saying it's the right call, it's not, I'm saying that this is the only argument that can be made. Every other time this is called zone-of-control rule (or however they word that crap now) because he clearly retains and controls the puck before this.
No wonder people think the NHL is fixed
Laine hater detected 👆🏻
Right lmao that call was fixed because Florida definitely needed that call to win tonight. Ottawa might as well have stayed in Sweden. DJ might be back there soon.
Yeah DJ way to control your non emotion! This team has no balls!
1st time weve seen a conclusive offside goal count lol
no, cale makar against the oilers during the playoffs was the first. This is the second. This game is rigged like the nfl
@vlun1215 that's true and it wasn't rigged the Sens were just awful that goal affected nothing they would've lost anyways its just mind boggling how they mess it up
The reaction of those first two fans would have been me if I were at this game
You mean the Tkachuk family? Lol
Each son of playing for each team fyi
Google Keith Tkachuk, he was pretty good lol
Definitely offside. The NHL makes up a new rule against Ottawa. If a player is in the zone BEFORE the puck enters the zone, the play is offside. Whether he touches it or not.
No that would be delayed offside. Gives the player a chance to get back. This case he was touching the puck before the guy tagged up. Clearly offside
Yes an offside can be delayed. But if the offside player remains inside the blueline, the linesman will often blow the whistle. And as you say, the puck was touched offside (it does not have to be the same player). The officials blew it. @@shanemoore4476
Another crappy, dubious call brought to you by Big League gambling! Someone wanted that goal to stand. That was OFFSIDE!
The only way the tag-up rule makes sense as a call here is if you argue his stick wasn't physically touching the stick, which makes no real sense and is completely inconsistent with how the rule other plays with the zone of control.
Ugly Stuff! DJ Must GO!!!!!!
Dillion gave him that balck eye!!
it was clearly offside, but the offside contributed nothing to the play. the player in the zone still ended up clearing the blue after the puck crossed, dont know why it is so heavily enforced if the ref doesn't see it in the first place. if its so easily missable then it shouldn't be a deciding factor of a goal or not.
It's a fast game, if there were no offsides then the game would be boring asf.
Love to see the call if it was against Vegas. Blatant missed call
ppl unhappy about the call, but this is the consistent call.
you can push the puck over the blue line and as long as you don't touch it again until the guy tags up, it isn't offside. this is the right call no matter how emotional people want to get about it. its also been consistently called this way for awhile, especially when you can get frame by frame video reviews like this.
another thing is it was called onside on the ice, so for it to be overturned it would have to be pretty blatantly offside, which this is not. even if you think it was offside by way of the guy bringing the puck over the line while its on his stick, it isn't clear enough for it to be overturned
Not a fan of either team. I am telling you, human to human, this is 1000% offsides. And most people here aren't emotional they are just saying offsides bc well, it's offsides
And that first angle is clear as day those officials/Toronto are blind
@@tompy3738 except it isn't offside, and yes you're clearly emotional by just saying the same thing over and over without addressing the actual rule.
"but its offside!" no, because the rule says this is onside
"but its obviously offside by the frame by frame projected assumptions of the puck that can't be seen through the stick!"
not clear enough evidence to overturn the ruling on the ice.
@@junk3996 oh you want the rule? If a player directs the puck over the blue line into the offending zone while there are players of his own team in the offensive zone, then the play is offside. If the offensive player then touches the puck while it is offsides, the play should be blown dead. That is precisely what happened here. The offensive player directed the puck over the blue line and you were able to see white in between the blue line and the puck so it was fully over. He carried the puck over while his teammate was in the offending zone. That is offsides there's your rule nothing else to be said
@@tompy3738 wrong that is not what happened, because he did not touch the puck after directing it over the blue line. by the time you can see white between the puck and blueline, he isn't touching it, and doesn't touch it again until his teammate tags up
thanks for clarifying.
that was offside
THE BLUE LINE IS PART OF THE NEUTRAL ZONE UNTIL THE PUCK CLEARS INTO THE ATTACKING ZONE
LEARN THE RULE BOOK BEFORE YOU WHINE
the puck bounches of 2cm player think he is controlling the puck thinking it is touching blade
Lol if it were any Canadian team it gets overturned, but the nhl needs hockey to succeed in the Us. Hence why no Canadian team has Won a cup in 30 years. Such a joke. Not a sens fan either
Just go to @1:47 and watch him touch the puck ON THE BLUE LINE.....
and doesn't touch it again until the zone is cleared...
Legal play, quit whining
rigged league
100% offside
