As a Korean watching this episode, my rough image toward the people of Muslim belief has slightly changed into positive prospective and I welcome and willing to live with them as my neighbors in Korea. They try to live like locals and assimilating to Korean culture. But they still set their traditional value high and set a good example of their mother land culture in Korea at the same time. Well balanced life and value they strive for.
Welcome to become a Korean citizen and become a father with full of dignity and hardworking. His mindset actually makes himself and his family, and his country shine.

Finally! I love couples like this and I love hearing their success stories in Korea, or wherever they choose to live. But this being Korea, it's interesting how they adapt to new life circumstances both culturally and linguistically. This is a refreshing story b/c both husband and wife are from Azerbaijan and are going through it together although the husband has more experience and is fluent in Korean. He's in a perfect position to lead his wife into a good place for their future together in Korea. In other situations that are more typical, it's always the Korean wife or husband that is doing a disproportionate amount of the work, heavy lifting and cultural inculcation for a foreign spouse, which invariably creates a socioeconomic imbalance not only in their marriage but also in everything they do. This marriage, on the other hand, is more of a marriage of similarly situated equals who are going through things together with both sides bringing to the table significant strengths that help each other out and provide balance in the end. This couple will definitely succeed and have a happy future no matter where they are. The majority of international couples/marriages are short-lived and have no future, especially those where it's quite obvious that one partner -- i.e., the foreigner -- is mooching off of or leaching off the other one -- i.e., the Korean -- in a parasite-host relationship, or dependent/co-dependent relationship. That doesn't apply to this couple at all, which is quite refreshing .

we Azerbaijani people have different approach towards religion. Majority of people are technically, culturally Muslim, but we do not practice it like in Middle East. Keep in mind that Azerbaijan was the first democratic Republic among Muslim world, and gave equal rights for women in 1918. Additionally, Azerbaijan is a secular state, which means religion and state is two different things. I am proud how our people managed to keep their traditions, culture and modernity together, and when we see what kind of radicalism and barbarism is happening in most islamic countries, this approach of ours is pretty cool !
Did you even understand what you wrote? LOL First, you are claiming that we are not muslim, since being muslim and democrats are not compatible. And then you state that you can still be non-religious and extremist. Hmm can I know how? Let me give you very important info on this topic. Historically, majority of Azerbaijanis were/are Shia Muslim, which is opposing ISIS extremists view. Do you know who do they hate in first place? Shias. If they would have power they would kill all shias first. Search for their messages about Shias and shiism. Btw, one year ago there was a warning message sent by ISIS member to Azerbaijan, stating that they will attack and destroy Baku, because of our good relation with Israel and west, because we have bars and discos. Lastly, Russia and Azerbaijan is not same. If you will check the ones who went and joined ISIS you can find almost people of various origins.
@Ra Men I never mentioned that islam is a reason for radicalism. I mentioned that today most of muslim states have radical aspects in them. I know that the reason is not just Islam. But also, we can't just deny the fact
Tanri, Turk and Wolf As an Azeri I totally, agree with you. I am Muslim, but also I live my life freely, according to modern world. We are Turkic people, so our initial culture is mix of Tengrism and Islam, with some shaman influence. The reason for religious radicalism in most cases is a bunch of uneducated people, and manipulators that like to control them with what they believe most. And most barbaric traditions come.from traditions of these people not religion itself. So seeing all of that it is important to maintain healthy religious approach

LOL. In Korea, no woman is getting pregnant, never mind a 21-year-old who is too busy trying to get into Julliard or Stanford. (Good luck.) Even if there is a Korean pregnant woman in Korea today, she is typically over the age of 40. (Even very few Korean women giving birth in their 30s, with absolutely ZERO giving birth, let alone married in their 20s.)

In the US, you think of breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, pancakes & waffles, etc. I was telling my husband how in some countries they have what a person would think of as lunch or dinner for breakfast. Then I thought about it for a moment, as he looked at me like we do too & I said, well, I guess we do a lot as well. I had ravioli for breakfast this morning and have other lunch/ dinner meals for breakfast (including left overs (pizza, etc). Lol.

As a fellow Muslim who does not drink alcohol and comes from a very strict, conservative Islamic background. I don't feel there's any need to attack them because at the end of the day, the journey of ones faith is only between them and god, no one else. But I do hope those who drink, drink in moderation so that they do not negatively effect their health, hence this is why it is 'haram' for Muslims to drink alcohol in the first place. As alcohol can negatively harm the human body. Please guys take care of yourselves.

The morning sickness that Zaynab is experiencing is quite normal. However, it's neither psychological nor stimuli related. It just means that her baby in utero is quite literally starving and begging for food, which ironically is inducing the nausea reaction. For Zaynab (Nihat's wife) to stop eating or reduce her food intake is entirely a misread of her nausea and does more harm than good. The nausea and gag reflex in pregnant woman is a signal that she needs to eat MORE food -- not less. If she can overcome that impulse to not eat by actually eating more, the nausea and morning sickness will actually subside and stop on its own. If she continues to reduce her food consumption and skip meals, her nausea will only increase.

It is really scripted, i've watched a lot of episodes of this show and there were always a scenes where the characters quarrel, but i think those were not far from their real life though, its like their just reenacting things.
Those are green cherry plums, basically unripe cherry plums and very common in the regions in and around azerbaijan, but outside ppl usually sell and eat them ripe
