Boy the Giants really took their foot off the gas in the second quarter. I vividly remember this point in the season when you never doubted the Giants would win it was just by how much. Dierdorf was really, really annoying as an analyst
The famous "garbage can game", when (allegedly) Parcells emptied a locker room garbage can on his team at halftime...saying they were playing like garbage.
And those allegations were confirmed by Coach Parcells himself. If you have ever seen the America's game about the 1986 Giants, he even said that he "Went to the offense, and said that if they scored 45 points, they might be able to tie the game." He walked to the defense, grabbed the garbage can with all the stuff from the week, started dumping it on top of them, and said "You guys belong here with the rest of this....shit." And then he threw the can off the wall and left the locker room.
Bart Simpson As much that I hate the Giants if Plaxico Burress didn't shot himself in the leg maybe the Giants will have repeat in the 2008 NFL season.
This the game the giants wrapped up home field advantage..could you upload giants vs 49ers in divisional playoff game..the NFC title game vs redskins, and Superbowl game vs bronkos?

The 1986 NFL season was the only time that the Giants had a dominating and a great team in the NFL!
