I'm a long time customer of Mike's XS. I hope it has more clips on CZcams.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong as I'm definitely not an expert, but I think the way shown here might be wrong in that he has tightened the adjuster back up when the plunger was as far outwards as it would come while rotating the engine. I think the adjuster is supposed to set so that the end of the plunger is flush with the end of the adjuster when the plunger is "in", not out. When I adjusted mine the way the video shows the cam chain was very noisy. When I adjusted it my way, it sounded very smooth. Like I said, if someone reading this knows for certain, please confirm either way.

When is it supposed to be flush? All the way in, all the way out? Tdc?

Yeah when is it supposed to be flush? When the piston is all the way up or all the way down?

I'm was getting ready to put the head together on my 79 & I noticed the rocker arm had alot of resistance. I took it apart & it looks like there might have been a washer in there if so it got ate up. Cant seem to find proper instructions for assembly or video.

    No torque specks? really!
So you just wing it by feel...
How do you know that your not
    "to-tight" or "to-lose"...
Their has to be a MFG torque speck, you expect an experienced person to do this totally by feel and not to damage his engine...
Every MFG of any make and model always had a torque values for all fasteners and adjusters published in their service manuals...

For this.. theres' little need... you're not torquing any components that rely on perfect specs.. The cover is just a nut for covering the plunger so it doesn't get dirt in it.
