Exploring Fort Casey, Whidbey Island

On this pristine summer day, while staying at my father's condo in Anacortes, we decided to drive across the Deception Pass bridge onto Whidbey Island and continue south to Fort Casey located next to the Coupeville Ferry Terminal. Diane, Shadow and I had a wonderful time watching the choreographed kite flyers, exploring the old fort and walking along the beautiful beach. What a fantastic place to spend the afternoon!

My husband grew up on Whidbey Island ❤❤ our kids and I absolutely love the Island 💜💜 and Fort Casey is one of our favorite day trips on the island.
