I kind of miss the Arabic theming of Echoes before, the problem is that Ruby's tone was in conflict with the guitar from the Mud Step instrumental. The new version makes it more in sync melody and more pleasant to listen to. Was hoping they were able to preserve the theme on the first version but the second does have its own flavor.

I liked Ruby’s & Boyfriend’s voice in the previous version of this song. I didn’t like the key signature change in the first version because it made the song sound weird. The key signature change fits this version better. But overall, I like the middle eastern melody of the first version better.
I don't think a song has skyrocketed into being one of my favourites THIS QUICKLY.

Nice reboot but I loved the old instrumental, the middle Eastern charm to it was just so good. If the reboot was just the old vocals changed. Though this reboot is absolutely amazing! Listening to this in my free time.

I definitely like this one better. The first version had a point ( 2:20 here) where Ruby's vocals and/or the song's key didn't mesh well together, but this is so much more improved and I'm digging it!
This reboot version made the song 10 x better
I noticed that Ruby got a completly new voice and the Song sound very different from the Original, which i dont find bad at all!
Version 2 sounds entirely different from the first version, which is something what i find extremly interesting compared to other reboots of songs.
In version one, i think Rubys voice is better, aswell as the notes together with BFs sounds better there, yet in my opinion i think this version fits A LOT more to the name Echoes, aswell to the mod name "Starlight Mayhem" since Rubys voice and the music in the background A LOT more to the night light of the dark sky. Aswell as Rubys part when she sings alone and BFs part when he sings alone sounds better in this version than in the old one, where in the old one it sounds better when they both sing together, yet the alone part wasnt as good as the part where they sung together.
Overall are both songs wonderful and really sweet! Both versions are incredible good and deserve the spotlight, even tho they both sound completly different, they are worth listening to.
It sure would be lovely to play both the old version and the new version in the mod, since like i said: They both are wonderful made and sound completly different, yet the same and deserve both the spotlight.

I love this version more than the old one, cause the v1 doesn't sound like a song, it sounds just like simple sound, without armony, the v2 sounds more beatiful. Someday I tried to remember how sounds the v1 after of heard the v2, and I don't like the old one

no clue why they even changed Echoes V1 when it was easily the best song in SM, now the mod just has ok songs thanks to Rebooted

I don’t think there’s anything “different” about this new version of echoes, I’m just not happy that Ruby didn’t get new vocals.
The vocals are entirely remade. The old version was out of key and BF samples where different than the rest of the ost. When you listen to them side by side , you'll notice.

i feel they ruined ruby’s vocals for this song cause ruby to me sounds off key where her vocals in the original song. sounded amazing i liked the original version better but ehh you guys can like it idm but i don’t like it
