First time I sang this song, it was in Japanese for a showcase thing for the Japanese language portion of the modern language department. Even though we didn't memorize the song (not enough time between the time we were given the song and the day of the event), I still remember bits and pieces of this song in Japanese. Ironially, my Chinese teacher decided to make our Chinese class do a skit of the Don Quixote story (basically what Man of La Mancha-the musical the song is from). The theme that year was Spanish, so at least one language class of each language had to do something related to Spanish or Spain.

I speak one language with my sibling, cousins, and people from school and another language with my parents and relatives. We like to travel a lot to some countries so I decided to learn another foreign language to better understand them
Great ending. I love the way he handled that last note by doing it twice. As far as the rest of the arrangement, I prefer my version. With this version, the piano arpeggio is a little too fast. And there was barely an intro to set the emotion of the song.
John michael,prior to the song,his conversation with the audience was the intro to the song.i had no issues with the pace of the piano.the arrangement was perfect for his style and vocals.the voice of michael ball is all thats required.
Michael is not the man he's use to be when if it comes to vocal ability, he had lost something, something just tells me his voice is going down. Just my humbled opinion.
