In this video I'm sharing our experience camping at Balsam Lake Provincial Park in Ontario. This park was quite large with 9 campgrounds and group campsites as well. We visited in September so some of the amenities and campgrounds were closed for the season, but it was still one of our favourite parks of the year!

Balsam Lake has a range of campsites with and without electricity for tents and RVs. For a private, natural experience car access walk-in sites are also available. Campsites may be reserved from the second Friday in May through to the Thanksgiving weekend. Reservations are accepted five months in advance of arrival - reserve early to avoid disappointment.
Boating on the Trent-Severn Waterway
Large sandy beach
Good fishing for Walleye, Muskellunge, Large and Small Mouth Bass
Canoe, kayak and paddleboat rentals
Easy day-trip hiking trails
Fully-furnished 4-bedroom rental cottage near the water
